I am a running novice, and by this July, it will be a year since I started. Over this year, I have successively run these distances: 0, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 21.0975... In the near future, perhaps I will even run 42.195km. My running philosophy is 'no distance, no speed,' hoping to run steadily and healthily. Every step, every mile is worth experiencing and feeling, such as the darkness of night, the brightness of morning, the cold of winter, the heat of summer, until the day I grow old...
Buying running clothes is a way for me to boost my running enthusiasm. My requirements for clothing are simple: comfortable, sweat-absorbent, minimalist, and well-fitting. One day, I saw the 'Actionfox - Happy Fox Running Set Test' on Codoon. The blue set looked refreshing and clean, spirited yet steady, so I applied for the test without hesitation and was lucky to be selected.
After receiving the set sent by the manufacturer, I couldn't wait to open it and try it on - my first experience with Happy Fox. At 1.6 meters tall and 60kg, I chose size L. It was slightly loose overall, and the shirt was a bit long. Size M might have been a better fit. From the photos, it still looks quite slim-fitting, and paired with my same-color running shoes, it felt great. I really wanted to go for a run immediately, but it was already late.
After changing out of the clothes and observing them closely, I found the following special features:
Top:
The top is made of Quick-Dry new sports fabric, primarily blue with green inserts. The green parts appear slightly thinner and more breathable, probably because there is more sweat on the back and underarms while running. The seams use a plain knit method, fitting the skin without chafing. There are two reflective strips about 5 cm long on the back at the waist, ensuring safety for night runs. I tested it under light, and it was very reflective. The most distinctive feature of this shirt is the inner pocket design, about 15*9cm in size. Running shirts are usually lightweight and rarely have such a thoughtful design. It can hold many small items like money, tissues, small supplements, cards, or even keys.
Pants:
The pants have a two-in-one design, with a tight inner layer and a lightweight outer layer. I generally prefer wearing double-layered pants while running for added safety and to avoid exposure. The outer layer is made of wrinkle-resistant quick-dry material with the Happy Fox logo, and the inner layer uses Q-Dry fabric with breathable holes on both sides. It quickly absorbs sweat and dries fast. Even with double layers, it is lightweight and comfortable in the scorching summer. The pants also have reflective strips on the front for added safety during night runs. To my surprise, the pants also have an inner pocket design, about 11*12cm in size. This design is very thoughtful and practical.
Color:
I chose blue this time, my favorite color, as vast as the sky, not too bright or dull, calm and profound, rational and serene. Besides blue, this set also comes in three other colors: vibrant magenta, warm peach, and clean white.
Special Features:
The Q-Dry fabric is not only lightweight and breathable but also has UV protection. It can achieve UV protection UPF40+, shielding the skin from UV radiation. Its sun protection mechanism relies on the fabric's ability to transfer, absorb, and reflect UV rays. Sun protection is essential for summer running, and this feature is a great addition. Combined with other sun protection products, you can run confidently in the summer. I also conducted a light transmission test under a UV lamp. 1 and 2 are my previous running shirts. Using the shirts to cover the UV lamp, I placed a piece of white paper underneath. The darker the paper, the less UV light passes through, indicating better sun protection. From the results, Actionfox - Happy Fox wins!

I paired myself with a simple, bright, and refreshing outfit and decided to go out and experience it. I chose a morning run and a night run to start the real test!
On May 14, 2017, at 7 PM, with a temperature of 21 degrees, I went for a 12km night run. Maybe it was because of the new clothes, but I felt very motivated and light-footed. The clothes felt particularly light and smooth, like silk, with no roughness at all. Before running, it felt very cool, which I think is due to its fabric and excellent breathability. During the run, I never felt stuffy. The four reflective strips on the front and back shone like pairs of eyes in the dark. Running on city roads with electric bikes, cars, and pedestrians can be chaotic, and this was my first outfit with safety warning strips, which felt very reassuring. After 12km, my body was sticky, but the clothes were still dry and smooth. A breeze made me feel completely refreshed. It was a great night in early summer, achieving another small goal.
On May 17, 2017, at 5:30 AM, with a temperature of 18 degrees, I went for an 8km morning run. The sun was getting stronger, and after 45 minutes, my face was burning. I sweated a lot, but the clothes still felt comfortable and smooth. There were some sweat stains on the front, back, and underarms, which is normal. The bright color also attracted the attention of passersby.
