Let me tell you my running story
The places I go to are filled with the unknown and hope
One day I realized that life shouldn't be measured by age milestones like 30, 60, or 90. I decided to make each day more meaningful, so I chose to travel by running to fulfill my dreams and take action to achieve them.
I am RunnerBear, an ordinary person living in the real world just like everyone else. For most people, dreams are a luxury because reality has too many constraints.
For me, living should involve having dreams and doing what you want to do, taking the first step without hesitation. Only by doing what you truly want can you find happiness and genuine joy.
So on September 10, 2016, I started my solo running journey from Shanghai to Kunming, covering 4050 kilometers in 116 days. Along the way, I met many people who accompanied and helped me. Thank you all for bringing many stories to my journey and giving me the strength to keep moving forward. Only through travel can one touch the traces of history and feel the passage of time.
Of course, there were doubts along the way. People who don't know you well may not believe that someone can achieve something beyond their imagination. But that didn't affect me. I just did what I wanted in my own way. While realizing my dreams, many people became stronger because of my story and even started to change, feeling that their lives had more value and purpose.
Before I set off, I understood a few things:
First, I believe life has many possibilities and values.
Second, do what you want to do when you are in your prime.
Third, life is short and cannot be measured by age milestones.
Fourth, only by traveling long distances can you encounter enough experiences and stories.
Meanwhile, my second phase of the running journey from Shanghai to Inner Mongolia, approximately 8000 kilometers, will start on February 25, 2017, at 8:00 AM from Shanghai Bund. Will I meet you and more stories along the way? Looking forward to an unexpected encounter with you at some intersection!
