What is Codoon's 'Monthly Run for Good'?
'Monthly Run for Good' is an exclusive event organized by the Codoon Running Club. It advocatesthroughrunning activities, to lead the public to respect nature and life, raise awareness for public welfare, eliminate misunderstandings and indifference, and foster more understanding and connections between humans and nature, and between lives.
In 2019, 'Monthly Run for Good' adhered to the principles of respecting nature, empathetic care, and equality of life. Through various activities, it called on runners nationwide to actively participate in public welfare, using sports to convey each public welfare theme to the public.

Monthly Run for Good | Earth Hour
Earth Hour is a global energy-saving event initiated by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to address global climate change. It advocates that on the last Saturday of March each year, at 8:30 PM local time (in 2019, Earth Hour was on March 30 at 8:30 PM), households and businesses turn off non-essential lights and electrical appliances for one hour to show support for action against climate change.
The 'Monthly Run for Good | Earth Hour' event called on runners nationwide to turn off their lights for one hour and go out for a run to respond to the action. Monthly Run for Good | Do Something Crazy for Moon Bears
In recent years, due to persistent illegal trade, habitat fragmentation caused by deforestation, and exploitation by the illegal bear bile industry, the beautiful species of moon bears has been facing severe survival crises. Their survival and future urgently need the attention of society and the public. Therefore, on the 20th anniversary of its founding, the Animals Asia Foundation designated August 8 as Moon Bear Day, calling on everyone to show more empathy and care for all living beings.
The 'Monthly Run for Good | Do Something Crazy for Moon Bears' event, jointly initiated by Codoon and the Animals Asia Foundation, invited all life-respecting and nature-loving Codoon friends to run for love and speak up for moon bears, showing empathetic care for them. Kind and passionate Codoon friends used running to call on those around them to care for moon bears, gathering everyone's love and strength to do something crazy for moon bears.
This event also had an offline activity in Chengdu, where various running groups organized runners to participate, using practical actions to practice and convey the theme of 'returning the beautiful forest to moon bears,' raising awareness about moon bears and their habitat.

The 'Monthly Run for Good | Have You Plogged Today?' event combined with the globally popular Plogging Run, initiated a running and trash-picking activity.
