becoming a physically fit top instructor to honor the motherland

2019 was a special year. During the National Day holiday, I participated in a particularly meaningful Codoon online run, 'Tribute to the Era: Running for the Motherland 70th Anniversary Online Race.' This year, I witnessed the country's firm steps towards becoming a strong nation, and my sense of pride reached an unprecedented high.

During this special holiday, I also watched a passionate youth tribute drama about the 'Air Force' called 'Flying Youth.' The drama is set against the backdrop of the establishment of the 'Air Force Youth Aviation School' and tells the story of cultivating military flying talents to meet the needs of military informatization and the generation of new combat capabilities.

As the main characters in the drama undergo numerous tests and training, gradually transforming into qualified and excellent flight cadets and realizing their dreams of soaring in the blue sky, I felt a deep sense of empathy. Improving the physical fitness of the entire population and accelerating the construction of a strong sports nation is truly an honorable mission for each of us. Today, I am honored to invite Wang Haojun, the actor who plays the instructor at the 'Air Force Youth Aviation School' in the drama, to share some interesting stories from the filming process and his fitness tips.

Q. Your new work 'Flying Youth' has recently premiered. What kind of role do you play in the drama?

A. I play the role of Instructor Liu Tianyu in the drama. I am responsible for the children's ideological and psychological counseling and try my best to take care of them in daily life. I specifically 'deal with' Kong the Rooster to prevent him from 'bullying' these poor kids. Haha.

Q. What preparations did you make for this role to become an aerospace talent?

A. My character has a lot of lines. From the first day I joined the crew, I was memorizing lines until the end of filming.

Q. Are there any interesting stories from the filming process of 'Flying Youth' that you can share with us?

A. It was minus 20 degrees every day during filming. Everyone in the crew was constantly eating, and no one had time to work out. Every day, everyone was chubby and swollen, which was the funniest thing.

Q. We all know you are a fitness enthusiast. When did you start working out, and when did you fall in love with it?

A. I started working out a few years ago because I love eating. When I encounter delicious food, I can't stop eating. If I don't work out, I would become a super fat person.

Q. What is your ideal body type? Are you satisfied with your current physique?

A. I am very dissatisfied. I feel like I have nothing where I should have something, and I still feel very fat. I often encounter people with low emotional intelligence who greet me with, 'Have you gained weight again?' Then I look at their physique and realize they are not in better shape than me.

Q. As a busy celebrity, how do you plan your workout time, and what is the frequency?

A. I go whenever I have time, whenever I'm not too tired, whenever I feel I've eaten too much, and whenever I feel I've gained weight!

Q. Besides working out, what other sports do you enjoy, such as running, swimming, outdoor activities, or ball games?

A. Besides working out, I enjoy swimming, walking, shopping, and traveling. As long as it burns calories, it's good! I don't like ball games because I feel like I would get hit.

Q. What changes has exercise and fitness brought to you?

A. Exercise and fitness make me feel happier, more energetic, and more confident. When my body looks better and I become more handsome, of course, I feel happy!

Q. Making fitness a habit can be quite challenging. Do you have any tips for maintaining this habit?

A. The secret is to have the right values and aesthetics! Recognize your own fat and ugliness correctly, install more mirrors at home, and look at the excellent and disciplined people outside. Remember that eating a few bites less won't starve you.

Q. What fitness equipment do you use most often when you exercise?

A. A pair of professional sports shoes, a professional sports watch, and a set of professional sportswear.

Q. Do you usually wear a sports watch? It is reported that you have also tried the new Codoon Sports Watch X3. Can you share your experience with us?

A. I often wear a sports watch. I tried the X3 and found its functions very professional and comprehensive. It's very user-friendly, and most importantly, it looks good! This is very important because no one would wear it if it didn't look good, no matter how useful it is.
