Preface

I've been running for three years and have participated in multiple marathons. I don't chase speed; I prioritize health runs. Even if I can't run fast, my gear must look cool. When it comes to choosing running gear, I have three criteria: first, appearance; second, appearance; and third, still appearance.

After three years of running, I've collected running shoes in all the colors of the rainbow. Looking at the colorful shoes really lifts my spirits!

A good-looking pair of running shoes can make you feel happy. If they are also lightweight, cushioned, supportive, comfortable, and breathable, then they're perfect! Pairing them with the right running clothes will make you the envy of everyone (lost in self-admiration).

Unboxing

The first time I saw the new Codoon 10K, I was electrified, especially by this pink pair. They are so fashionable and the pink color makes my inner girl burst with joy.

The shoe upper is made of a one-piece knit that is comfortable and breathable, with a slight water-repellent capability. You don't have to worry about wet feet when running in light rain. The toe cap uses a hot-melt process to reduce stitching, providing good protection.

The tongue of the new 10K is made of thin leather, which fits well and doesn't move around during exercise.

The laces are flat and quite sturdy. After two weeks of use,they haven't come undone.

The U-shaped heel interior uses thickened sponge, which is moisture-absorbing and soft, protecting your feet.

The heel features a large area of TPU, with three sides of TPU wrapping around to provide stable support and lock the heel in place. The fit is comfortable with no heel friction, and the support is particularly noticeable, making it very suitable for beginner runners.

The sides of the shoe feature a large infinity (∞) brand logo made of custom jacquard, which helps fix the upper and maintain its shape.

The midsole is made of high-elastic, lightweight multi-density EVA material,with dual-density midsoles to disperse impact forces. The wave-patterned stabilizing pillars and embedded shock-absorbing pads provide excellent cushioning and support.

The insole is made of ORTHOLITE brand multi-porous sponge, which is breathable and doesn't feel stuffy. It also has some rebound.

Exercise

No matter how much you praise them, nothing beats trying them on for a run.

On the day of the test run, it happened to snow. The fluttering snowflakes paired with the pink new 10K made me feel great despite the cold weather. Running 10K in the snow with the new 10K, I found the shoes very suitable for me. The thick midsole cushioning was evident, and the heel support was excellent, helping to correct my running posture. The geometric outsole pattern provided great traction, even on slippery surfaces.

I also wore the stylish 10K to participate in the Light Pig Run. The route included asphalt, wooden bridges, steps, and stone paths. The new 10K handled all of them with ease, making me love them even more.

The smart chip in the left sole collects exercise data, which can be easily synced with Codoon to analyze your exercise data and see where you need to improve.

The post-exercise stretching video tutorials are very practical. I follow them after every workout.

Summary

Priced at 229 yuan, the new 10K is very affordable and looks great. It also performs well in terms of exercise. The smart chip is powerful, helping you analyze stride frequency, ground contact time, landing posture, and other exercise data. You can run without your phone and sync the data afterward.

I recommend it to beginners who want both looks and performance, and it's also suitable for other runners as a training shoe.
