When it comes to reviews, I consider myself a fairly experienced reviewer. However, this time I am extremely excited because I have been given the rare opportunity to review such a high-end product for the first time. I would like to thank the brands Kailas and Codoon for this once-in-a-lifetime chance. I am fortunate to be the tester of these trail running shoes, and it is also my first time encountering such shoes.

The toe cap features a full rubber wrap-around design for collision protection. It is sturdy and durable, providing all-around protection if you kick or bump into any hard objects while running.









When I received the package, my first impression was that it was quite heavy. After tearing open the package, the box inside had been completely deformed during transportation. Opening the lid, I found a pair of black running shoes covered with tan kraft paper. The most attractive features of the shoes were the unique diagonal opening design, special laces, and the strong, durable, and sturdy-looking sole with a patterned design.



Although it was my first time encountering such trail running shoes, I was somewhat familiar with the Kailas brand and had previously purchased related products. Without any trail running experience, I could only use my usual road running to test and break in the shoes. Two days after receiving the shoes, I tried them on for training. Initially, the shoes felt heavy, and the special sole felt a bit uncomfortable on the road.






Time flew by, and October 29th arrived quickly. Before the race, I was still hesitant about whether running a half marathon in such heavy shoes would be very exhausting. Would I hit the wall? Would others think I was in the wrong place? I had participated in the Changshu Shanghu Half Marathon once before, so this time I was a returning participant. My experience told me that the Shanghu course was not a real road; it was more like a country road, meaning the surface was not smooth and had various conditions. So, wearing these shoes was quite fitting.







After returning, I took the Kailas Flywing 2.0 trail running shoes for a mountain hike. I wore the Kailas Flywing 2.0 to the Nantong Langshan Natural Scenic Area. If the shoes can handle a marathon, they can definitely handle hiking. After a day of hiking, I felt very relaxed. The shoes made climbing the rugged mountain paths easy, and I quickly reached the top. As the saying goes, 'It's easy to go up the mountain but hard to come down,' but there was no need to worry. The Kailas Flywing 2.0, designed for mountain running, had a sturdy, wear-resistant, and anti-slip sole that made descending just as easy.



Although the Kailas Flywing 2.0 trail running shoes helped me complete a half marathon, it doesn't mean they are suitable for all types of running. They can be used for marathons, but they are not specifically designed for them. There are many details that do not match. Kailas is dedicated to climbing, and I believe that if I were to participate in a real trail run, I would be able to experience more outstanding features of these shoes. I hope to have the opportunity to take the Kailas Flywing 2.0 trail running shoes for a real trail run in the future.
