2018 national fitness mile race harbin station perfect finish
On October 27, the 2018 National Fitness Marathon Harbin Station concluded successfully at the Hulan Estuary Wetland Park in Harbin. Attending the event were Yang Tao, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Heilongjiang Provincial Sports Bureau; Wei Lai, Director of the Vocational Skills Appraisal Management Department of the Human Resources Development Center of the General Administration of Sport of China; Yao Weili, Director of the Mass Sports Division of the Heilongjiang Provincial Sports Bureau; Diao Zhidan, Director of the Office of the Heilongjiang Provincial Sports Federation; Yang Meng, Director of the Heilongjiang Social Sports Guidance Center; Wang Ruiqing, Deputy Director of the Office of the Heilongjiang Provincial Sports Federation; and Dong Junming, Chairman of the Hulan Estuary Wetland Park.The cold weather did not dampen the enthusiasm of Harbin citizens. Led by Olympic weightlifting champion Lin Weining and world champion in freestyle skiing aerials Cheng Shuang, a thousand runners from Ice City braved the cold to complete the 5-kilometer challenge, igniting the fitness passion of Harbin residents.
Old friends from Ice City reunite
Harbin is an old friend of the National Fitness Marathon, having hosted the event for many consecutive years. Returning to this familiar city once again, the event received a warm welcome from Harbin's runners. At the event, we saw many old friends who are loyal fans of the National Fitness Marathon and never miss the Harbin station. For them, this is a fitness festival for everyone. Today, these runners from Ice City reunited, setting off together for health and happiness, writing a new chapter in the National Fitness Marathon.
The blend of ice and fire, endless joy
Today, Harbin experienced the coldest day since the beginning of autumn, with temperatures dropping below zero. However, this did not deter the many runners from participating. The venue was filled early with contestants, and the atmosphere was very lively, spurred on by the host. Champions also interacted with everyone, making the cold unnoticeable. The runners, full of enthusiasm, crossed the starting line against the wind, completing the 5-kilometer run that blended ice and fire. Although Harbin is known as Ice City, the hearts of its people burn with passion, continually writing their sports myth of ice and fire.
Winter and summer champions join forces
The Harbin station invited two champions: Lin Weining, the women's 69kg weightlifting champion at the Sydney Olympics, and Cheng Shuang, the 2011 World Champion in freestyle skiing. The winter and summer champions jointly supported the event, calling on everyone to stay active in both winter and summer, using different forms of exercise to achieve scientific fitness. The two champions also demonstrated some fitness moves on-site and interacted positively with everyone, receiving unanimous praise from the runners.
The National Fitness Marathon Harbin Station was hosted by the Human Resources Development Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, the Vocational Skills Appraisal Guidance Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, and the Heilongjiang Provincial Sports Bureau. It was exclusively promoted and operated by Beijing Zhongti Brokerage Management Co., Ltd., organized by the Office of the Heilongjiang Provincial Sports Federation, and co-organized by Heilongjiang Aolin Sports Development Co., Ltd. and Hulan Estuary Wetland Park. The event was supported by Zhongti Union (Beijing) Sports Industry Development Co., Ltd., Shaklee (China) Daily Products Co., Ltd., and Codoon.
