@685_The Street Where the Wind LivesAs of today, I have run 5951 kilometers, completed 481 online events, 12 offline events, and created 182 paintings for medals.

In 2015, I was still a novice runner, just like the newcomers who have just entered the running circle now. I had no running skills, ran quietly by myself, and never thought of participating in any offline competitions. I purely relied on obtaining Codoon's online medals to give myself the motivation to continue.

The theme event "Seeing the World in the Name of Running" sparked many thoughts in me. Seeing those runners showing off their marathon photos and medals made me feel very envious and admiring.

Looking at my own Codoon online medals, although they are also medals, the way of obtaining them is the same. Medals are a form of energy, earned through sweat and perseverance. Although I haven't been to the actual events, I have participated in many online events. In the virtual world, I have also run all over the place. When you go out to compete, you encounter various things and people. Each race is a story, and every medal is a beautiful memory. Online medals are the same; although the stories are somewhat monotonous, each online marathon medal has its own unique story. They are unforgettable and warm.

I remember the creative idea for my first painting was actually very simple. At that time, I didn't know if people would like it, let alone that it would attract Codoon's official attention. The idea I wanted to express in the painting was a high-value virtual marathon travel route map, mainly to fit the theme and participate.

The second painting was inspired by Codoon's online cycling event. After earning many online marathon medals, Codoon launched an online cycling event where you could earn cycling medals. So, I immediately signed up. Since cycling is related to bicycles, the creative bicycle medal painting was born. Later, it was improved and launched in versions 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, and even upgraded directly to motorcycles.

The third painting is the creative painting of the Townsville Koala Medal, which everyone liked very much and was favored by many Codoon editors. The main reason was that the medal looked good; I just drew a big tree for the koala, which might have been the finishing touch.

Later, I created many more creative works. The one that impressed me the most was the Amman Jordan Little Camel Medal. This creative work was reposted by Codoon's official staff on sports circles, Weibo, and WeChat platforms, and my creative medal painting instantly became popular.

For each painting theme, I basically looked at the characteristics and shape of the medal, then tried to integrate the painting and the medal perfectly to present a complete artwork. The animal series was relatively easy to match with paintings. For those that were not easy to match, I painted things I liked, such as superheroes, and I painted many of them.

In the following time, I couldn't stop creating creative paintings for medals. Some Codoon friends also looked forward to my works being continuously updated. However, Codoon is ultimately a sports platform, and I was worried that what I was doing might be seen as "not doing my proper job" and would cause resentment among others. I even thought about giving up.

Now, whenever I see the paintings I created, I can still recall the heartbeat I felt during the creation process.

The Codoon Zodiac Medal Set painting was very popular when it was first launched, so a new version of the Codoon Zodiac Medal Set was later introduced and is currently ongoing.

The inspiration for this medal painting came from the lyrics of my idol Jay Chou's song "Snail," which deeply moved me: "I will climb up step by step..."

These are some of the creative paintings I am proud of, and there are many more that I won't showcase one by one.

Marathon medals! Some people treat them as scrap metal, while others see them as rare treasures. I infuse them with meaning by creatively painting them into artworks. Some have commemorative value, some have special significance, and some contain untold stories...

Back then, I imagined a marathon route map. While painting, I felt more envy and admiration, watching runners travel everywhere. I hoped that one day I could also appear at various marathon events. As a novice, I also hoped to conquer one half-marathon after another, and even full marathons in the future.

A small creative medal painting gave me great ideals and inspiration. Now, I have basically achieved these goals. Not only have I run all over the place, but I have also conquered half-marathons and full marathons. Looking back, I never dared to imagine it. I have left my footprints in famous events like the Beijing Marathon and the Shanghai Marathon.

Times are changing, and Codoon is also developing and innovating. The original slogan "For exercise, use Codoon!" has now evolved into "Smart exercise, all in Codoon!" Codoon has entered a new era of technological intelligence. The only thing that remains unchanged is that everyone has a dream-chasing heart. I believe many people have changed themselves because of medals on their running journey. Medals symbolize the completion of a race for runners. No matter what you have experienced on the road of alternating tens of thousands of steps, the moment you receive the medal, it means you have overcome the most difficult moments of the race. You have conquered yourself and the 42.195 km course. All the hardships and joys are condensed in this small medal, how can you not be moved?

The title "Seeing the World in the Name of Running" has now become "Traveling with Codoon." So, I thought about it and decided to present the real marathon route map I achieved along the way in the form of paintings, as a way to truly fulfill my dream.

This is the story between me and the medals. As for whether I will continue to create paintings for medals, please stay tuned!
