What principles has running taught you?
The value of persistence
@Jack0810:When it comes to running, persistence is the best choice! 🐾
@_SunshineFlavor_:Persisting in running is the beginning of self-discipline.
@Jian_a3736:Persistence is hard, but giving up is harder.
@BambooShadowReflectingMoon31043916:The value of running lies in perseverance. Balance running, nutrition, and rest scientifically to form a habit. Over time, you will shine!
Take wins and losses lightly
@283_HanJiangXue:Running has taught me that winning against myself is the true victory!
@XiYangYangIsMyBoss:Running is a personal matter; don't let it inflate your ego blindly.
@MaXiaoKui324:Don't worry too much about wins and losses on the track; the key is to measure yourself well.
Learn to be alone
@MorningFlowerEveningPick520:Be at ease in solitude, and find peace in the noise.
@M_HuangJiaRong:Lose weight, reduce stress, lessen worries, and occasionally have a dialogue with your soul. Let yourself suffer but be happy.
@MengHaoFu876:Running is a process of talking to yourself, a rare opportunity for solitary reflection.
Enjoy freedom
@HaiLiDolphin:Running has become an inseparable part of my life. I run to celebrate when I'm happy and to relieve worries when I'm sad.
@MicroRainNoDust:Run your own run, let those who don't understand laugh! I've become slimmer, more beautiful, healthier, and my life is full of positive energy! Haha~
Maintain your original intention
@GangZi25080544:Running reflects a person's willpower, but don't let blind impulse and vanity cloud your mind. Staying clear-headed is very important.
@TianRenHeYi14682098:Challenge yourself; the road is under your feet. For runners, the most important thing is to maintain your original intention and not forget your initial goal.
Progress step by step
@HelloXiaoMaGe:Haste makes waste. Running should be approached step by step with scientific training. Blindly increasing training intensity out of a momentary passion will only lead to injury.Every successful challenge deepens my understanding of myself. As long as I try, there's nothing I can't achieve!
@RunnerNostalgia:Although I've only been running for 7 months, I've learned that running should be gradual. From running only 300 meters on the first day to now completing 10 kilometers in 50 minutes, I've also learned that running should be scientific. The warm-up and stretching videos on Codoon before and after each run are essential, so my legs haven't gotten thicker, and I haven't had any injuries.
Enjoy life
@LockKing8298999208:What can relieve worries? Only running.
@DragonHorseSpirit37589471:Running has taught me to live in the moment and enjoy the healthy and energetic self of the present!
@Runner20901077:Since I started running, I've developed good habits. I used to sleep late and love to sleep in, but now I go to bed early and get up early.
Learn self-discipline
@Z999686:Running has made me more self-disciplined. Running has made me more of a perfectionist. Whether in life or work, I strictly require myself to do things more perfectly.
@WarGod152:Since I started running, my life has become more self-disciplined.
@RespectTimeWithWine:I've become more self-disciplined imperceptibly, and I might not even realize it 😄

The more you run, the more you understand these principles
Persisting through pain is not worth it
The more you run, the more you realize that persistence is valuable, but persisting through pain is wrong. Running is an endurance sport that can cultivate perseverance, and persistence is a valuable quality for runners, but persistence does not mean being blind.
If you experience pain while running and still persist, that's a complete mistake because pain indicates inflammation and pain points. The more you run through the pain, the more it will hurt. So, when pain occurs, stopping running decisively is sometimes more important than persisting.
Breaking limits is not necessary
The more you run, the more you realize that human abilities have limits, and you don't need to break those limits. Motivational phrases like 'surpass yourself, break limits' are inspiring, but actually doing so is extremely wrong. The essence of training is not to break limits but to get as close to your limits as possible.
Everyone's abilities have an upper limit. Training aims to tap into your potential and get close to your limits. We must recognize that everyone's ability limits are different. Even if you never reach the Boston Marathon qualifying standard, it doesn't prevent you from being a disciplined and serious runner.
Act within your means is wise
The more you run, the more you realize there's no need to always compare yourself to others. Acting within your means and running your own race is the true essence of life. In the current trend of showcasing running mileage, checking in, and running marathons crazily, we realize that there are too many folk experts. If you always compare yourself to others, you will easily fall into a trap. Running is not about comparing with others but with yourself. Gaining health and running your own race is the true essence of life.
Exercise brings a healthy life
The more you run, the more you realize that exercise brings satisfaction and a high-quality healthy life. A healthy lifestyle has many elements, but exercise is the most important part. Without exercise, no matter how healthy your diet, how sufficient your sleep, or how regular your life schedule is, it cannot be called an active and healthy lifestyle. Without exercise, you can never talk about a truly healthy lifestyle. Exercise will bring you a high-quality life and satisfaction.
