domestic sports watch newcomer juntao fliwrist 600 experience report
Before I started running, I had no concept of sports watches. I believe many people who are just starting to get into sports have similar confusion and doubts as I did back then. With the increasing awareness of health, more and more people are getting into fitness, and exercise has become a fashion trend. Besides basic sports gear like clothes and running shoes, a watch that can record and analyze exercise data can help us achieve better performance. So how do you choose a sports watch that suits you? I hope the following review can provide some reference. Please point out any shortcomings, and thanks to Codoon for providing the review opportunity.
Brand Introduction
The design philosophy of the JTOUR brand is based on military standards, adhering to a quality-first service belief. It integrates cutting-edge technology into smart terminals to facilitate civilian life, striving to achieve the best fusion of military technology products and civilian needs. The entire product series retains the rugged and tough style unique to military products while keeping up with modern consumer trends. The product design is innovating and breaking through in a diversified direction, aiming to combine practicality, intelligence, technology, and fashion.
Today, we are testing the JTOUR Fly Arm 600—a smart watch designed 'for the young to run.' It is a running smart watch that can monitor multiple sports modes. Additionally, this watch has a super long standby time of 60 days, eliminating the hassle of frequent charging.
Unboxing
The packaging is very simple and direct, with green paper packaging. The front has a transparent plastic cover, allowing you to see the watch inside without opening the lid.
The back features Lei Diansheng, China's first person to walk across the country and the brand ambassador for JTOUR.
The accessories are very simple: a watch charger, a screen protector included with the watch, and a user manual. The Fly Arm uses a contact charging method, which is very convenient and similar to the charging method of the Garmin 235 watch.

Design Details
After a simple unboxing, let's take a look at the design details of this watch. The JTOUR Fly Arm uses a lightweight design, weighing only 45g, making it very light to wear.
The screen is a 1.2-inch sunlight-readable color display with a resolution of 240*240.
The strap is a detachable silicone strap, which is very soft and comfortable to wear. The buckle uses a double buckle design, making it secure to wear without worrying about it coming off during running.
User Experience
First Boot, Satellite Time Synchronization
The buttons are designed with three on the left and two on the right. The top left is the backlight button, the bottom left is the return button (press for 3 seconds to power on or press for 10 seconds to restart), and the middle left is the OK button. In the standby interface, a short press brings up the settings menu, and a long press in the first standby interface can add or remove functions like maximum oxygen uptake and lactate threshold. In other interfaces, a short press enters or confirms. This is the opposite of the button layout on the Garmin watch I previously wore, so it took some getting used to.
The two buttons on the right are for scrolling up and down. A long press on the top right button enters sports mode (running, swimming, cycling, walking, marathon, and indoor running), and a long press on the bottom right button enters daily tools (calendar, weather, stopwatch, find phone), which are quite practical.
After booting up, there will be a QR code prompt to connect to the JTOUR Sports app. If you don't connect the app, you can still see the relevant exercise data on the watch.
However, the exercise track does not display a detailed map, only a route map.
After downloading the app and connecting the watch, the exercise data can be seen intuitively on the app, and it can be shared and exported.
The wrist heart rate monitoring is faster and more accurate.
The watch face store in the mobile app doesn't have many watch faces, but they can be updated in time for holidays.
After connecting the app to the phone, you can set message reminders. It can display six lines in total, with four lines of main text, which should be enough for daily message display.
You can choose between sound or vibration mode on the watch, which is a very considerate feature for people who are exercising or have their phone set to silent.
In terms of battery life, the official data claims that the JTOUR Fly Arm has a standby time of 60 days. In actual experience, running 10 kilometers consumes 12% of the battery, walking 5 kilometers consumes 12%, cycling 40 kilometers consumes 20%, and 24 hours of standby consumes 1%-2%. From the current usage, the standby time is not exaggerated and may even be longer than stated. Running a marathon should not be a problem, but if you run an ultra-marathon, the battery might not last.
Summary
Compared to other sports watches in the same price range, the Fly Arm has many highlights. It has good waterproof and sweatproof effects, the screen display is good, it quickly finds satellites, and the positioning is accurate. It has satellite time synchronization, and you can interact, share, and export exercise tracks on the app. The heart rate monitoring and mileage pace experience are also good. Of course, compared to other products, there are areas for improvement, such as the lack of a touch screen, which makes button operation a bit inconvenient; the app needs to be reconnected every time you enter it; the watch face store has a limited variety; and it would be better if the packaging included two more tempered films and other color straps. However, these are all minor issues that do not affect usage. As a sports watch in the thousand-yuan price range, the Fly Arm is already excellent.
