double the passion double you qixi special trail race

"It turns out that the dreams we have as children become aspirations when we grow up, and when you decide to work hard for those aspirations, they are never just fantasies."

-Trail for love,DreamerChasers.

"Is trail running hard?"

"Not at all, it's just like attending a party in the mountains, eating, drinking, enjoying the scenery, and then it's over, leaving you wanting more."

Were you also lured into trail running by such words at the beginning?

Then you use these words to entice new friends, telling them how beautiful the mountain scenery is, how pretty the girls you meet are, how enthusiastic the volunteers are, how considerate the organizers are, and how responsible the photographers are in capturing moments.

You huff and puff, running more and more trails, up and down, with ups and downs, running and resting.

You think to yourself, why is running uphill so tiring, and why did I come here to torture myself?

All of this, you find the answer when you turn around.

01

"Without you, it's silly joy; with you, it's cola."

"Trail running tip one: A good race is worth inviting friends to join."

They say trail running is a journey into the mountains, a conversation with oneself. Well, that's what others say.

But in my heart, I always believe that if a race lacks the people and experiences you care about, then even if you venture into the mountains, it's just silly joy alone.

The best part of trail running is that sip of cola, so you can't help but invite friends, and that's what makes it fun.

You might not believe it, but pre-race gatherings are the most efficient way to boost your competitive state.

The process is roughly like this:

While drinking juice, "My legs feel weak, I'm worried about not finishing, I can't run much."

While drinking alcohol, "It's okay, I'll just run as far as I can, run for fun."

After three bottles, "I'm going all out, I came all the way to Wuxi, I must make it to the top ten."

Moreover, this trail run is different, not just because DC organized it so warmly, and Lao Jiang demonstrated his passion through actions, but also because after signing up for the Qixi Trail Run, I looked back at Monkey.

"Monkey, do you want to travel, to attend an interesting big party?"

"Sure, sure."

After getting Monkey's affirmative answer, I went to ask Duoduo:

"Duoduo, for your Qixi Trail Run, I have someone here who wants to volunteer for your race. Is that okay?"

"Sure, sure."

So, to see the volunteer at the finish line sooner, how could I not run faster with the help of some alcohol?

I once fantasized that at the finish line, if Monkey asked, "Who is it, who is it?"

I would say, "It's your person."

But I guessed the beginning, not the end. At the finish line, volunteer Monkey said,

"Turn off your headlamp, the photographer is taking pictures."

02

"Merriment alone is not enough to combat life; it's the strength that settles in that counts."

"Trail running tip two: Before a good race, you should visit the starting point to ensure safety."

If I had to count the most attractive aspects of trail running, I think it's the feeling of roaming the world, visiting different places, and feeling a sense of camaraderie.

Along the trail, many interesting stories happen, you meet beautiful people and smiles, and you can have deep conversations with occasional companions without worrying about shallow relationships.

But the reason we tirelessly roam the world and visit different places is because some warm-hearted people have organized one "gathering" after another, and because these people themselves are interesting, they attract us to join.

(Roaming the world and visiting places, with an ability boost, double that. - Daily trail running superstition)

Before the race, I imagined countless times that this trip would be artistic, interesting, and romantic, but upon arrival, it was the little details that unexpectedly touched my heart.

There were romantic Qixi logos everywhere, elegant yet explosive pre-race warm-ups, a "shadowing" photography team, and "group after group" of attractive volunteers.

One heartwarming detail after another made me realize that there are many ways to get excited, and it doesn't always have to be the same old Boom Boom Boom.

They say tricks win hearts, but in the end, what we remember are those sincere details.

Having a heart that infuses passion into every detail means you can achieve anything, anywhere.

So, for every participant, the best sense of happiness is, after the 54321 countdown, just set off, because confession is not just about companionship, but also about waiting at the finish line.

03

"Meeting people along the way is always a gain."

"Trail running tip three: If you don't know the way, take it slow, it's faster."

People don't live for years, months, days, or hours, but for a few moments.

And those few moments, because of setting off, because of passion, are truly wonderful.

After the beautiful host's 54321 countdown, I ran out with a belly full of red wine, fruit wine, a sip of Red Bull, and half a bottle of cola, duang duang duang.

I can't say much, but I'm sure various drinks will have a chemical reaction, don't ask me how I know.

Probably because of my confused state on the track.

For example, I happily followed the first-place runner, then felt a rush of excitement and couldn't help but speed up and overtake, only to hear from behind, "Hey, you're going the wrong way."

So I turned around and rushed back down.

For example, when I was about to overtake the person in front, I said, "Brother, let me pass, thank you."

A roar came from behind, "He called me brother! I just graduated from college!"

And so, in a confused state, I wobbled to the 6-kilometer checkpoint.

Here, I couldn't help but manually praisethe volunteers of DreamerChasers.

They were definitely smoke bomb volunteers.

While humbly saying they had no experience and were worried about not taking good care of the runners, they also said, "Eat more, watermelon and drinks are free."

Then, as you leave the supply point, you realize they are experienced veterans.

"Keep going, keep going, just do it."

With such encouragement filled with trail running jargon, I went from tenth place to fifth.

The entire race course was very trail-like and interesting.

The race was divided into 8k and 15k groups, with three sections where runners could meet and encourage each other.

The 8k group was for couples, while the 15k group was for singles.

You really have no idea about the potential of single people, well, mainly I don't understand.

Every time I finally found a rhythm, thinking I could maintain my pace and finish fifth, achieving my personal best ranking.

Then I would notice the singles behind me speeding up because they saw couples holding hands.

For example, my classmate Xiao Bi beside me.

Throughout the race, his surround-sound footsteps played in my ears.

When no couples were passing by, his footsteps were slow, and he calmly told me,

"Squid, you keep going, I can't run anymore, I'll walk."

When couples holding hands passed by, his rapid footsteps expressed his anger.

As I approached the finish line, I instinctively looked at my watch, my instant pace was 3:55, and "I can't run anymore, I'll walk" Xiao Bi was 10 meters ahead of me.

Well, that's the classmate who told me, "You keep going, I can't run anymore, I'll walk."

(So, you said you could only walk?)

04

"I never forget the routine post-race activities."

"I am that very ugly piece of clay jade, grateful for each race that continuously carves me."

In the last segment, I can't help but express my gratitude.

Thanks to the warm-hearted organizers, the photographers, the volunteers, we are very fortunate to have participated in such a wonderful trail race.

I am just a very ugly piece of clay jade, but each race continuously carves me,allowing me to grow, to run longer, run stronger.

Thank you for patiently reading this far, with love! (The guy in the picture below is a very enthusiastic volunteer, had to include a picture, thank you for preparing cola for us at the mountain pass.)

Trail for love
