super energetic songs must listen for running easily reach 5km every day</
The process of running is long and tedious, so using music to distract yourself and make it less tiring becomes extremely important. Here are some must-listen songs for running, please listen to them in order.1. How You Like Me Now
This song is the theme song of 'Ted'. The style is very upbeat. If you've seen the movie, you'll be reminded of Ted's cheeky antics. It's great for warming up at the start of your run. If you're on a treadmill, set the speed to 5.5 for 1-2 minutes. This song is nearly 4 minutes long, so you can start running halfway through. Aim for a speed of 10, or at least 8.5. If you're running outdoors, walk briskly for a bit before starting to run. Imagine yourself walking cheekily with Ted, nodding your head.
2. Iridescent (Linkin Park)
As the theme song of 'Transformers 3', this song quickly reminds you of the despair of humans watching the destruction caused by alien robots. This sense of despair can trigger a natural urge to run. Imagine yourself in the midst of ruins, with Bumblebee getting knocked down and getting back up repeatedly. This mental imagery is crucial as the fatigue of running is largely mental. Listening to songs that find hope in despair can make your strides larger.
3. Who Let the Dogs Out (Baha Men)
If you've listened to the first two songs, it should be around 9 minutes. The period from the 9th to the 25th minute is tough, so it's time to pick up the pace. 'Who Let the Dogs Out' is great because its beginning is so energizing. You can sing along softly while running, which also helps with deep breathing. If you're already tired, switch to another song after a minute or two. Imagine yourself mimicking the guys from 'The Hangover'.
4. It's My Life (Linkin Park or Backstreet Boys)
This song needs no introduction. Its pounding rhythm gives your legs a lot of energy!
5. Guren no Yumiya (Attack on Titan Opening)
By now, the total time should be around 16 minutes, and you're probably feeling exhausted. I usually listen to 'Guren no Yumiya' at this point. Its fast pace and structured lyrics make you feel like a powerful youth, full of energy!
6. Night of Fire (Initial D)
This song is amazing because of its very fast rhythm.
7. Pacific Rim
Anyone who has seen this movie knows how energizing this song is. It's perfect for running, with a super steady rhythm that makes your legs move on their own. Combined with 'Night of Fire', these two songs last 5 minutes, and with 'Guren no Yumiya', it's a total of 10 minutes and 40 seconds. By now, the total time is 26 minutes.
8. Sexy and I Know It (LMFAO) or Bon Voyage (One Piece)
I usually end with one of these two songs. The former is known as the 'show-off song', talking about men working out, making you nod your head and turn your steps into dance moves. The latter is from my favorite manga, so I imagine adventuring with Luffy. Running while imagining Sanji getting knocked down and getting back up makes you want to run faster. The idea is to immerse yourself in a scenario to distract yourself. If you listen to slow, sad songs, you'll focus on the music and feel too tired to continue.
9. Additional Recommendations
If 30 minutes isn't enough and you want to run longer, here are some more energizing songs: 'Here Comes the Boom' (from 'Fighting Teacher'), '21 Guns' (another 'Transformers' song, many Green Day songs are great for running, especially this one), 'Holiday' (a very cheerful Green Day song), 'Flow! Go!' (a cool opening from 'Naruto'). Enjoy your run!
