As a first-time user of CRAFT gear, I am not unfamiliar with it because my friends around me already use CRAFT's 'three-layer clothing system.' I have some knowledge of it, and I must thank Guan Jie and Codoon for giving me this precious opportunity to review it.

This is a functional sportswear brand from Sweden, founded in 1977. It is one of the more than 20 brands under the New Wave Group. Initially, it produced functional underwear for Swedish Royal Air Force pilots. With technological advancements, this unique fiber fabric was continuously improved, making its sweat-wicking performance and maximum comfort its biggest features. By the late 1970s, it was applied to various winter skiing projects and achieved great success.

Today, Craft continues to innovate based on sports underwear, developing high-quality, professional functional sportswear suitable for outdoor activities such as skiing, cycling, running, and orienteering.

Earlier, I mentioned the 'three-layer clothing system,' which is essential to discuss when talking about Craft clothing. This is also why I am fond of it.

The first layer is sports underwear, which has excellent breathability and sweat-wicking functions. It uses unique fabrics and sewing techniques to ensure that sweat is successfully transferred to the second layer.

The second layer is mid-layer clothing, made of microfleece fabric. It effectively transfers sweat to the third layer and helps retain body heat.

The third layer is the outer layer, which is windproof, waterproof, and cold-resistant. It also effectively wicks sweat, keeping the body dry. All three layers are equally important and work together in this chain to create a perfect microclimate for the body during exercise.

On the afternoon of January 18th, I received a call saying that a package had arrived. While on vacation at my hometown, I quickly asked my roommate to check it out. It turned out to be the CRAFT Green Label Comfort Top. I asked my roommate to open it and show it to me. It was a bright blue crew neck long sleeve top.

Since I checked the clothing specifications provided by Guan Jie and found no men's size S, I chose a women's size M based on my small build. This did not significantly affect normal wear.

The right chest has the CRAFT logo.


The inner lower part of the back neckline also has the logo, 'MADE IN CHINA,' 'FABRIQUE EN CHINE,' and '1903714 YI 2127' printed.

There is a pin with a bilingual label at the neckline, detailing the information of the top.

I usually wear size M, but I knew that men's size M would be too big, and there was no size S, so I chose women's size M. Perhaps because it is a Swiss brand, the sleeves are longer than usual, but other aspects fit just right. The fabric is lightweight, soft, and comfortable against the skin, warm, and has good wrapping properties with no odor.

Detailed Review

There are streamlined design lines on the shoulders, lower left and right chest, and back. When you turn the top inside out, you can see that these are the most breathable areas, indicating that they are designed for increased breathability and comfort. This not only enhances the product's streamlined aesthetic and dynamic feel but also improves breathability.


The underarm areas have a special design to better keep the top dry and breathable.

This top uses seamless knitting, and each seam is very smooth.

The lightweight microfiber material provides excellent temperature control, offering good warmth for winter athletes.

After putting on the top in the morning, I also wore a Hongxing Erke warm windbreaker. As soon as I stepped outside, the cold hit me, and my head hurt from the chill. After running 4 kilometers at a pace of 4:55, I took off the windbreaker.

Although my wrists were a bit cold, the upper body warmth was good. Perhaps because it was too cold, I didn't sweat much during the 10-kilometer run. The underarm breathability felt good, and the warmth was impressive.

Location: Edge of the Mu Us Desert, Northern Shaanxi

During a 6-kilometer desert cross-country run, it felt a bit cold due to the wind. I brought a windbreaker and an inner jacket, but running with just the top was not cold.

After sprinting the last 1 kilometer, I felt sweat on my back. Normally, ordinary clothes would stick to the skin, but this time I didn't feel that at all. The top dried quickly after returning to the dormitory.

After running 10 kilometers on the treadmill, I was sweating profusely, and my back and chest were wet, but I didn't feel uncomfortable.

I also did some strength training afterward. Throughout the session, I didn't feel the top sticking to my skin, and my underarms stayed dry.
