"Why are you so dark?"

This is the first question everyone usually asks. Actually, I was born with dark skin.Even my dad jokes that I inherited African blood from many generations ago, and he often can't find me at night... (Allow me to cover my face for a moment, is he really my dad?)

"Why are you called Fairy?"

"Look at the figure, small waist fairy, big waist monster!"

Because I want to be a confident and beautiful person, and with my unique dark skin, I named myself: Kenya Fairy; also because I was fortunate to serve as a pacer 6 times, my unique appearance often made headlines, so everyone jokingly calls me the Headline Black Rabbit Fairy.

I started running in August 2016, and by January 2018, my total running distance exceeded 5000 kilometers. I ran a total of 15 marathons, 10 full marathons, and 5 half marathons. What impressed me the most was...

The toughest marathon

Qingyuan Marathon, my first full marathon, it was raining, I walked and ran alternately from 10 kilometers onwards, gritted my teeth and persisted to the end. At 38 kilometers, I could still jump high for a photo. I was a bit impressed with myself, haha~ Finished in 5 hours and 21 minutes, such a beautiful result. Haha, I felt quite fair-skinned at that moment~

The most meaningful marathon

Beijing Marathon, realizing the dream of running freely in front of Tiananmen. When the passionate national anthem played, 30,000 people sang the national anthem together, the scene was so moving that words cannot describe! I turned a Chinese football team shirt into a fashionable one with a few snips of scissors. Isn't it creative and beautiful?

The most colorful marathon

Shanghai Marathon, appearing as the image ambassador for the sponsor, I braided my hair in a colorful way. The photographers at the starting point kept taking pictures of me, and the spectators along the route were all amazed by my colorful hair, saying "Wow! Beautiful hair!" In a marathon with over 30,000 people, I made it to the headlines, I guess I was quite lucky, hehe~

The most perfect marathon

Guilin Marathon, I was very honored to be the official 6-hour pacer, also known as the sweeper. As a sweeper, you have to make sacrifices, slow down, and be a qualified obedient rabbit. Along the way, there were adorable 6-hour rabbits who never left my side, enthusiastic cheering spectators, the most commendable wheelchair runners, police cars and handsome guys escorting us all the way, selfless volunteers in the cold wind, and delicious Guilin rice noodles at the finish line... We were a reliable group of rabbits, gun time: 5:59:59. A perfect finish!

The most beautiful marathon course

Hailing Island Marathon, a beautiful island, picturesque scenery along the way, sea breeze blowing in my face, warm sunlight falling on me. I like the sunlight, anyway, I'm not afraid of getting tanned~ Haha, Little Green Rabbit kept murmuring that she would get tanned. Unexpectedly, the other two male rabbits were also afraid of getting tanned. Well, I can only say we are different.

The warmest marathon

Nanning Marathon, as the official 5-hour pacer, there was Brother Su who told various jokes along the way, bringing laughter, the shy beauty Yun, and the steady master brother who controlled the pace. Thanks to the master brother for not abandoning me and pulling me to the finish line when I felt unwell in the last 2 kilometers, a perfect 5-hour finish.

The most eye-catching marathon

Guangzhou Marathon, I appeared in fancy dress, tribal-style clothing, and with my dark skin, everyone thought I was a foreigner. I also did a Codoon live broadcast along the way, and the audience was particularly enthusiastic when they saw me. It was a local event, many runners knew me, and I kept taking photos along the way. The photographers were also busy clicking the shutter. After the race, I had over 1500 photos. It felt like I wasn't there to run but to take photos~ Haha, and I was lucky enough to win the best costume award.

The most extravagant marathon

Huangpu Marathon, with an extravagant race pack, beautiful course, enthusiastic cheering spectators, and diverse cheerleading squads, we were filled with passion on the course! Over 150,000 beautiful photos, a big thank you to the photographers along the way! The doctors running with us, ample supplies, rich food after the race, humane stretching services, car lottery grand prizes, etc., all made us praise it endlessly. Especially the selfless volunteers, their presence was everywhere from the start to the finish, working hard and cheering us on. In a word: Huangpu Marathon was awesome!

The most impressive pacer marathon

Heyuan Marathon, being a sweeper pacer is not unusual, but have you ever seen a pacer accompanied by more than 10 vehicles? Special police, 110, 120, sweep vehicles... slowly following us two sweepers to the finish line, the scene was really shocking~ At the finish line, photographers were waiting with cameras, and the organizing committee staff were waiting for us from 200 meters away, cheering us on. That moment was touching, realizing the importance of the sweeper pacer's mission. There was also a small episode: at 30 kilometers, a special police officer kept asking me to get on the sweep vehicle. I told him, "I am a reliable pacer, why don't you come down and I'll run 20 kilometers with you." After that, he never asked us to get on the vehicle again, only cheered us on!

The most romantic marathon

Xiamen Marathon, the most beautiful rainy day to run 42.195 kilometers together, doesn't it sound romantic? As the 6-hour pacer for Xiamen Marathon, I ran with another handsome pacer, Star. Although it rained the entire time, it was a marathon full of wind, rain, and love. Besides the beautiful scenery along the way, there were more touching moments. This time, Xiamen Marathon was very generous! Not only were there bread, cherry tomatoes, bananas, raisins, sports drinks, etc., but also steaming hot noodles! This time, we finished perfectly in 6:00:00. Seriously, running a marathon in the rain is quite nice!

After reading about my marathon experiences, don't you feel like hitting the course and running right away?

In 2018, the Fairy will continue to run, turning the persistence of running into a habit, turning races into fun, and running gracefully into old age!

In 2018, the Fairy will also continue to appear on marathon courses in different styles. If you encounter me on the course, remember to run a bit faster, or else if I catch up to you, you'll be swept away~ hahaha~

In 2018, let's move forward together!
