craft warm compression pants keep me moving
Hello everyone! I am Codoon user 'Worship Happiness'. At this moment, my heart is 'beating unusually' because this is my first time participating in a review. I have no experience, but my experience is genuine. You must read on.
Winter in the north is cold, and it's a challenge for outdoor runners. Having a warm, breathable, and comfortable outfit is a dream for every runner. The appearance of CRAFT thermal tights is great news for winter outdoor athletes. Alright, let's get to the point, follow me!
Hello everyone, the face of the brand, Defense thermal running tights, male, from the Craft family! Originating from Beijing, China, available in Asphalt/Fluorescent Yellow, Black/Flame Orange, and Black. Fabric one: 87% polyester, 13% spandex; Fabric two: 90% polyester, 10% spandex; Fabric three: 100% polyester. It loves autumn and winter, and outdoor sports enthusiasts are its best friends. Windproof, breathable, warm, quick-drying, it can do it all! There are pictures as evidence!
First meeting, the Black/Flame Orange color combination, mainly black with orange accents, looks grand yet vibrant, giving a pleasing feeling. The pants have no odor, meeting the general expectation for new clothes.
The CRAFT logo on the right leg is appropriately sized, noticeable and just right. It would be even better if there was another logo on the back of the leg.
The waistband combines elastic and drawstring, very convenient for sports enthusiasts.
The sides of the calves have zippers, making it convenient for those with thicker calves to wear.
There are some minor flaws in the workmanship on the right leg, a slight imperfection.
Wearing the beloved pants, they fit very well, allowing free movement, snug and true to size. I chose the size according to the chart provided by Codoon, and there is no sense of constraint, very elastic. The initial experience is excellent. The side zippers on the calves make it easy to wear.
Clear weather, daytime, temperature minus 9 degrees Celsius, outdoor 10 kilometers healthy run.
After a simple warm-up, wearing the CRAFT thermal tights, I didn't feel cold at all. They fit very well and are comfortable to run in. After 3 kilometers, I was sweating a lot, but there was no stuffy feeling like with previous sports pants. The special treatment at the knees prevents any pulling sensation while running. Compared to previous compression pants, the CRAFT thermal tights have much better warmth retention after exercise. However, the waistband of the CRAFT thermal tights feels a bit short, and during warm-up and stretching, the waist might get exposed, so keep the waist warm.
Gym, room temperature 15 degrees Celsius, aerobic and anaerobic exercises.
For indoor exercise, it feels slightly warm, but for someone like me who is afraid of the cold, it's perfectly fine. Although I sweat during exercise, the pants don't get soaked, while my regular compression shirt is completely wet. The breathability and quick-drying properties of the pants are excellent.
Early morning, temperature minus 3 degrees Celsius, outdoor exercise.
The temperature is quite low, and initially, it feels a bit chilly outdoors, but it's completely acceptable. The inner fleece works well. Although the body sweats, there is no sticky feeling against the skin. The breathability of the pants is excellent. One pair of CRAFT thermal tights equals regular compression pants plus fleece-lined sports pants, significantly enhancing comfort. The reflective material increases safety.
CRAFT thermal tights are ergonomically tailored, providing no sense of constraint during exercise. They excel in sweat-wicking, warmth, and comfort compared to regular thermal compression pants. For those who love sports but are afraid of the cold, these are very suitable for outdoor activities around minus 10 degrees Celsius. I am quite afraid of the cold, but I can handle it perfectly.
If the pants had more color options, added reflective material on the back, a slightly longer waistband, and more attention to detail in workmanship, they would be even more perfect.
