361 shield 2 running shoes steady forward
361 Degrees is a well-known domestic sports brand, while 361 Degrees International Line is an independent operation system for overseas production and sales. Domestically, it focuses on casual sports, whereas the international line targets the global market, striving to compete with other international brands in terms of product craftsmanship, technological content, and functional quality. Notably, it has received the highly prestigious 'Recommended Product' award from Germany's Runner's World magazine.
The name Shield evokes the image of protection, and the 361-shield 2 neutral cushioning running shoes aim to provide runners with more protection while racing. The black and magenta color scheme I received is quite standard and is commonly used by many other brands.
The upper combines three layers of highly breathable mesh with jacquard mesh. Through the outer black mesh, the inner magenta layer is faintly visible, instantly enhancing the fashion sense.
The designer has put a lot of thought into the design of the upper, using dense black weaving and reflective magenta PU leather to create a highly layered flowing pattern. This not only enhances the shoe's fashionable appearance but also provides the much-praised wrapping effect.
The tongue lining is made of foam, conforming to the curvature of the instep, adhering to ergonomic principles, and providing an outstanding wrapping sensation. The shoe waist features an irregular three-layer jacquard mesh design, making the bending movements during running more conforming to the foot shape.
The heel uses a large area of ultra-lightweight thin film hot pressing technology, which is more conducive to heel stability during exercise. The dot-matrix 3M reflective design at the heel makes night running safer and more reassuring.
This 361-shield 2 still uses the unique international line'sQuick Motion Protection System, consisting of four pieces from the insole to the outsole. The lower inner waist is paired with REBOUNDEVA, enhancing the inner waistline and increasing mid-waist support. The forefootruns through the ground contact and foam rubber with the heelwindow design and the application of wear-resistant rubber, improving durability and friction while making the runner more comfortable. The upper layer uses a large area ofdistributed according to the pressure areas of the foot. Additionally, this 361-shield 2 has reduced the heel height to 80MM. From an ergonomic perspective, this can make the Achilles tendon more flexible, greatly reducing the possibility of sports injuries. (The Achilles tendon is the largest tendon in the human body, formed by the tendons of the soleus and gastrocnemius muscles of the calf, attached to the heel bone.)
Getting new running shoes is an exciting thing for every runner, right? I'm a rather casual person; when putting on shoes, I only loosen the front three laces, then lift the tongue and slip my foot in. However, the short tongue design of this 361-shield 2, which others praise, is something I truly dislike. After tightening the laces, there's no extra length to adjust the tongue properly. Nonetheless, the wrapping effect of these shoes is excellent, even better than Asics, and the comfort inside is as genuine as described in the manual. On the day I went to shoot the material, it happened to snow lightly. The magenta shoe body paired with the lake blue sole made this 361-shield 2 stand out in the snow. The large black mesh on the front of the shoe is steady and atmospheric, while the red and lake blue combination on the side and sole is lively and dynamic, like a noble snow leopard, determined and swift in pursuing its target.
It's already below minus ten degrees in the northeast, yet wearing these running shoes, I didn't feel cold at all. Friends in the south can probably wear these shoes for winter training. After jogging on the stone pavement, speed running on the plastic track, and a half-marathon road test, the short tongue design I previously disliked fits more closely to the foot during running. However, the lowered heel is still something I'm not quite used to as a heel-strike runner. Jogging on the stone pavement after rain, the anti-slip function is slightly insufficient. During speed running, I didn't feel significant cushioning, possibly because my pace of 5:30 didn't reach the design speed. In long-distance running, the excellent wrapping and stability of these running shoes indeed provide better support and protection for runners.
A friend joked that these shoes look like Asics and feel like Do-Win. If you prefer good wrapping and pursue speed, then you should definitely consider getting these 361-shield 2 international line neutral cushioning running shoes.
