bmai 21k lite running shoes worth owning for marathons

First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to Codoon for giving me the opportunity to review the Bmai 21K Lite running shoes. I had heard of Bmai running shoes before but had never actually worn them, so I was quite looking forward to trying them out.

When I first opened the package, I was amazed by the unique packaging of the Bmai running shoes. Unlike the usual cardboard boxes, Bmai uses an air-cushioned shoe box, which left a deep impression on me and made me eager to open it.

Upon opening, I found a pair of blue shoes, cushioned with air-filled airbags to ensure protection during transportation. This was in stark contrast to other shoes that use paper stuffing. Additionally, the box contained a checklist, a thank-you letter, and an opportunity to interact with Bmai's CEO. In today's competitive market, having a unique feature can lead to success. At least, Bmai's packaging left a lasting impression on me.

You can only tell if a pair of shoes is good by wearing them. So, here are my impressions of the Bmai running shoes after several tests.

Test:

Test Date: 2017.9.2 21:45

Test Distance: 10km, Time: 51:25, Average Pace: 5:08

Test Location: Cement road around the neighborhood

Impression: Since it was my first run, the shoes needed a break-in period, so the overall pace was moderate. The shoes felt relatively light and had good overall coverage without causing any blisters. My initial impression focused more on the comfort and fit of the shoes, and I found them quite impressive.

Test Date: 2017.9.9 18:54

Test Distance: 10.09km, Time: 45:00, Average Pace: 4:27

Test Location: Cement road around the neighborhood

Impression: After a few days of breaking in and occasionally wearing the Bmai running shoes to and from work, I wanted to test their cushioning and rebound by running at a faster pace. The EVA midsole and rubber outsole provided excellent cushioning while keeping the shoes lightweight, allowing for faster running.

Test Date: 2017.9.23 Afternoon

Test Distance: 10.65km, Time: 52:20, Average Pace: 4:54

Test Location: Around West Lake

Impression: Running around the beautiful West Lake on a familiar route that I run at least once a week was a pleasure. This test was conducted at a regular pace to feel the shoes' comfort, landing, elasticity, and stability. After running 10km, the shoes performed excellently. The midfoot support ensured smooth movement during the run.

Test Date: 2017.10.15 Nanjing Marathon

Test Distance: 43.45km

Test Location: Nanjing Marathon full marathon route

Impression: Although the Bmai 21K is designed for half marathons, I wanted to see if they could handle a full marathon. I wore them for the Nanjing Marathon and finished with a net time of 3:30:53! This proved that the Bmai 21K can be used for full marathons, although it is primarily designed for half marathons and shorter distances. Wearing the Bmai 21K for a full marathon gave me a deeper appreciation for their quality, support, and fit.

Conclusion: The Bmai 21K Lite is a high-value running shoe. Its unique packaging will leave a lasting impression on many runners. The lightweight design makes running easy and agile, and the PU membrane mesh upper provides good breathability. These shoes are suitable for daily wear, casual use, and half-marathon or shorter distance training. They are also a good choice for occasional long slow distance (LSD) runs. Overall, this is a highly cost-effective running shoe suitable for the general public. However, whether a shoe is suitable for you depends on your foot shape, arch, weight, height, etc. If you are not a heavyweight runner and have a normal arch, the Bmai 21K is worth a try.
