Just before publishing this article, Bass Cat had just arrived at Beihai City, the starting point of the Tour of Guangxi Road Cycling World Tour. After quickly dropping off his luggage, he went downstairs to start filming for everyone. Although he had been on the road to the race site since a little after 5 AM, the excitement of reporting the event first-hand instantly dispelled any fatigue.

He initially planned to photograph some of the luxurious road bikes that participated in top-tier races like the Tour de France and Vuelta a España this year, allowing everyone to appreciate their true splendor up close. However, the day before the race, these high-end bikes were all being meticulously maintained and tuned by team mechanics, so he had to abandon that plan.

Staff members were busy preparing at Beihai Silver Beach.

However, Bass Cat noticed a large contingent of motor vehicles on the sidelines—a support team composed of luxury SUVs, adventure motorcycles, professional media cars, and material transport vehicles. This impressive lineup was also quite a highlight, so let's take a look together.

First up is a pair of 'Black and White Duo' BMW X1 SUVs. These vehicles, marked with 'UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale)', 'Tour of Guangxi Road Cycling World Tour', and 'Staff', are used by staff members for transportation. During the race, staff will use these cars for communication, maintaining race order, and other related tasks.

Next is a fleet of luxury motorcycles, primarily composed of BMW GS series adventure motorcycles. These bikes are used during the race for tasks such as filming, route guidance, and race condition observation. Adventure motorcycles are the most commonly used type in professional cycling races due to their stable performance and powerful engines, making them ideal support vehicles.

Bass Cat himself is a motorcycle enthusiast, and seeing such a large 'Water Bird' (nickname for BMW GS series motorcycles) fleet was truly a feast for the eyes!

This Buick minivan is also used by staff for transportation. There are quite a few such work vehicles throughout the race, indicating that the event organizers have made thorough logistical preparations.

This is the material transport vehicle, responsible for transporting various logistical supplies.

Here's another BMW X1, but its task is 'Track Inspection'. Staff will use it to carefully check the race track conditions, ensuring the event proceeds safely and smoothly. Though the same model, its role is entirely different.

Another staff transport minivan, this one is slightly larger than the previous ones and marked as a 'Staff' logistics vehicle. It seems to function as a small mobile office.

This heavy truck parked by the roadside is loaded with materials for constructing the award podium, backdrop, and other items for tomorrow's race. Workers wearing safety helmets are about to start setting up these temporary facilities.

This is the emergency communication vehicle, ensuring good network communication signals at the race site.

The satellite broadcast vehicle is also ready. Starting tomorrow, it will broadcast the Tour of Guangxi to cycling enthusiasts worldwide.

Staff from Nanning TV Station are adjusting cameras in front of the TV broadcast vehicle. For such a major international event, filming and broadcasting work must be flawless.

Finally, another BMW X1, but this one is labeled 'Race Deputy Director'. Clearly, this is a command vehicle for race operations. The multiple antennas on the roof will accurately transmit command signals to other staff members.

Of course, as a World Tour-level professional cycling race, there are also team mechanic vehicles, team equipment/supply support vehicles, and neutral support vehicles. However, like the luxurious bikes of the riders, these will only appear on the road when the race starts on the 19th. So, don't worry, today is just a warm-up.
