First, let me introduce myself. I have been running for two years and am currently the president of the Codoon Campus Club. I have researched various brands of running shoes, and I hope you will like this review report.
About Bmai
Bmai was established in October 2014 and is affiliated with Beijing Bmai Sports Goods Co., Ltd. It is an internet sports brand focused on the independent development of sports products and creating high-quality domestic goods. 'Every step is a surpassing' is the slogan of the Bmai brand. The company's English name 'Bmai' is a transliteration of 'be myself,' and the logo uses a QR code design, representing that Bmai is an internet sports company.

This running shoe is available in men's and women's versions, each with two colors. The men's version comes in Classic Black and Electric Blue, while the women's version comes in Classic Black and Firebird Pink. The specific display is as follows:
I chose the Classic Black color, size 43. Upon opening the package, I felt very thoughtful—the air-cushioned shoe box for shock absorption and anti-collision is different from the traditional paper shoe box, greatly reducing the risk of damage during transportation.
[6] Upper material: PU film + mesh
The PU film used on the upper material has good dimensional stability and flex resistance; the mesh increases the breathability of the shoe. From an overall view, the black upper, accompanied by a circle of white embellishments (reflective strips), looks aesthetically pleasing and not monotonous. The reflective logo at the heel is quite noticeable.
[7] Outsole material: Rubber + EVA
Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA). EVA material has good softness and rubber-like elasticity, and its relatively low cost makes it one of the most widely used midsole materials by major shoe manufacturers. Rubber + EVA is a good combination.
[8] Closure method: Laces
The laces are not the common solid color laces; they are black and white interwoven, echoing the reflective strips on the upper.
Summary:The overall appearance of these running shoes leaves a good impression, with a very high aesthetic value. The color matching is very in line with public aesthetics. When held in hand, they feel very light, and the promotion of 'light as a leaf' becomes one of its major features. The size US 8 weighs 245g, making it a lightweight running shoe.
Running shoe test results
To experience and explore the functions and characteristics of the Mile21K Lite as much as possible, I conducted a five-day test: walking on the first and fifth days, and intermittent running tests on different surfaces and at different paces in between. I will elaborate on this below.
[1] Test method: Brisk walking
Chosen surface: Road
Pace: Normal walking speed, about 11 minutes per kilometer
Duration: 6 hours
Wearing the Mile21K Lite, the most immediate feeling is lightness, with decent wrapping. During walking, the breathability is good. Because the sole material is rubber + EVA, it is moderately soft and hard. The midsole EVA provides stability, cushioning, and rebound, absorbing the impact generated during exercise, offering protection and a relatively gentle foot feel.
Considering the overall appearance of these shoes, they are a good choice for everyday walking and matching with clothes.
[2] Test method: Running
Chosen surface: Road surface
Plastic track
Pace: 4 minutes 50 seconds - 5 minutes;
5 minutes 30 seconds - 6 minutes.
During running, because the shoes are light, it is easier to pick up speed. The cushioning effect is moderate, the heel wrapping is good, and the feet do not feel stuffy during exercise. The breathability is commendable. For entry-level beginners, the sole should enhance cushioning and fully consider the softness of the sole.
On the plastic track, the experience is significantly better than on the road surface, with reduced landing impact, providing a fuller experience.
Summary: During the five-day test, the running shoes provided a good experience. Overall, they are suitable for everyday walking and jogging. The only drawback is that on the fifth day of the walking test, there was a slight 1.5cm glue separation at the front of the shoe. After careful inspection, no other parts showed signs of glue separation. This is an isolated case, and the specific reason for the glue separation cannot be reasonably explained here. It is necessary to remind Bmai to pay more attention to the adhesive on the bonding surface.
Conclusion
The Bmai Mile21K Lite running shoes live up to their promotion of being 'light as a leaf,' making them a good lightweight running shoe. In terms of better reflecting the cushioning performance of running shoes, more consideration needs to be given to the feelings of runners at different levels.
