bimai 21k lite running shoes a new powerful addition
I would like to thank Codoon Equipment Party and Bimai Youth for their trust and love for me, a loyal fan, allowing me to experience your latest products first-hand. First of all, congratulations to Bimai for launching a new product. This is the third-generation masterpiece following the Bimai 21k series. Today's main character is the Bimai 21k Lite. It also adds a new powerful member to my shoe cabinet as a Bimai fan.
The hard EVO midsole and rubber outsole form a dam-like three-dimensional support structure, providing anti-slip properties in wet conditions, effectively dispersing pressure, and enhancing propulsion, offering a lighter running experience. The toe and heel use 3M reflective material, ensuring safety during night runs.
The shoelaces have undergone significant changes. The 42k laces in the Mile series were hard and non-elastic, making them prone to coming undone. This time, the 21k Lite laces are moderately soft with just the right amount of elasticity, ensuring they stay firmly tied during high-speed runs. The laces also have reflective properties, making the black and white laces look even cooler under the night sky.
Speaking of insoles, Bimai not only focuses on making shoes but also on insoles, which are a significant feature of Bimai. Every pair of shoes comes with functional insoles, and the Bimai 21k Lite is no exception. It uses hemp fiber material, effectively antibacterial and deodorizing, moisture-wicking, and quick-drying, allowing you to run freely and comfortably.
The cloudy weather lasted for two days, and finally, a good day arrived. Today was clear and breezy, the perfect opportunity for a second 21k Lite test. I decided to do a 10k speed run to see how it felt beyond the official recommended pace. According to my plan, the rebound effect was excellent when I started the speed run. With each step, I could clearly feel a force bouncing back, providing undeniable knee protection. I chose the 42-size 21k Lite, weighing only 252 grams, showcasing its unique lightness. Today's 10k at a 4:50 pace was fully manageable for the 21k Lite, almost like a racing shoe.
Since the Bimai 21k Lite is defined as a half-marathon shoe, the ultimate test had to be a half-marathon. Today is October 1st, National Day, and while many people might be traveling, my plan was to use a half-marathon as the final test for the 21k Lite. First, to fully experience all the features and potential of the 21k Lite, and second, since I received support from Codoon and Bimai, I couldn't let them down; the evaluation report had to be of a certain quality. However, the weather was not favorable; it was hot and humid, with the possibility of rain at any time. Because I had things to do during the day, I chose to do the half-marathon test after 5 PM. Since these are marathon shoes, I recommend choosing a size larger because your feet will swell due to the heat generated during continuous running, which is how black toenails are formed. Today's half-marathon was tough. After the run, I felt hot and couldn't run freely. I gritted my teeth and persisted to the end but couldn't avoid getting soaked by rain at the 17k and 20k marks. The Bimai 21k Lite went through a rain battle and got wet. Although the run was difficult, the 21k Lite's rebound was still outstanding, with excellent arch support and a spacious forefoot, making it perfect for long runs. The sole is anti-slip and wear-resistant when wet. Overall, the foot feel was still great today, although the run was exhausting due to the bad weather. In conclusion, today's 21k run was tiring but without any issues.
Some people may choose what is right for them rather than what is expensive, which is a way of being responsible for themselves. What suits you is the best, and the most expensive is not necessarily the most suitable. The Bimai 21k Lite can be described as stunning in terms of cost performance and design considerations. Although it may be slightly inferior to foreign brands in terms of technology, it is evident that Bimai is dedicated to making professional running shoes for Chinese people.
There is a strong smell of glue when unboxing, which has always been an issue with Bimai running shoes. As a Bimai fan, I'm used to it; leaving them outdoors for a while solves the problem. However, for new runners just getting to know Bimai running shoes, this might create a misconception and mislead them. Such a small issue could potentially lose many supporters, so I suggest Bimai address this problem as soon as possible. The color options are not as diverse and cool as the previous generation 21k. It is recommended to introduce more color options, similar to the 42k, which had more than ten color choices.
I am 685_Wind on the Street, and this is my detailed review of the Bimai 21k Lite. I was lucky to get a spot in the Nanjing Half Marathon, and I will definitely wear the Bimai 21k Lite to conquer the Nanjing Marathon. As I finish writing this review, Bimai has launched the third generation of the Pace series, which is related to running shoes with socks. To learn more about Bimai's latest updates, you can visit the Bimai official website or follow Bimai on WeChat and Weibo. There is definitely something for you.
