bimai 21k lite running shoes a new powerful addition

I would like to thank Codoon Equipment Party and Bimai Youth for their trust and love for me, a loyal fan, allowing me to experience your latest products first-hand. First of all, congratulations to Bimai for launching a new product. This is the third-generation masterpiece following the Bimai 21k series. Today's main character is the Bimai 21k Lite. It also adds a new powerful member to my shoe cabinet as a Bimai fan.

Unboxing Chapter
Following the unique airbag-style shoe box of the Bimai 42k, the innovative packaging highlights individuality, leaving many Bimai fans with a lasting impression. The 21k Lite continues this packaging style with slight changes: the silver airbag has been changed to black, and only half of the drawer-style inner bag is retained. These small changes do not affect the protection of the shoes, so you don't have to worry about the shoes being damaged or deformed during shipping. There is a QR code in the center of the airbag; scanning it takes you directly to the purchase channel, whether you are an Apple or Android user. Truly an internet sports brand, utilizing the internet to its fullest.

Appearance Chapter
I chose the black version of the 21k Lite. Black represents mystery, coolness, maturity, and classic style. This time, the official release includes three color options: black, electric blue, and firebird pink. The black version is unisex, proving that black is fashionable, grand, and versatile. The overall construction of the shoe is smooth and simple, without excessive decoration. The Bimai logo is not overly conspicuous, achieving a luxurious low-key look.

Material/Function Chapter
The upper adopts a lightweight design inspired by the stems and leaves of a tree, fully embodying the 21k Lite's lightness like a leaf. The seamless, integrated breathable mesh ensures comfort without any heaviness. The more supportive 3D printing technology is used on the jacquard mesh, giving a textured feel when touched, both light and tight. It also efficiently dissipates heat and breathes, allowing your feet to feel like they are breathing while running.

The hard EVO midsole and rubber outsole form a dam-like three-dimensional support structure, providing anti-slip properties in wet conditions, effectively dispersing pressure, and enhancing propulsion, offering a lighter running experience. The toe and heel use 3M reflective material, ensuring safety during night runs.

The shoelaces have undergone significant changes. The 42k laces in the Mile series were hard and non-elastic, making them prone to coming undone. This time, the 21k Lite laces are moderately soft with just the right amount of elasticity, ensuring they stay firmly tied during high-speed runs. The laces also have reflective properties, making the black and white laces look even cooler under the night sky.
Speaking of insoles, Bimai not only focuses on making shoes but also on insoles, which are a significant feature of Bimai. Every pair of shoes comes with functional insoles, and the Bimai 21k Lite is no exception. It uses hemp fiber material, effectively antibacterial and deodorizing, moisture-wicking, and quick-drying, allowing you to run freely and comfortably.

Real-World Testing 11k, 10k, 21k Chapter
When I received the shoes, it was a period of heavy rain in most parts of Jiangsu, so I couldn't test the 21k Lite immediately. Besides, I was reluctant to use new shoes in the rain. After three days of rain, it finally turned cloudy. I chose my usual morning run. Bimai running shoes require zero break-in; you can wear them right out of the box without any discomfort. When the 42k was launched in March this year, Bimai's slogan advocated zero break-in. So, I had no concerns and wore the 21k Lite for an 11k test. The first impression was its light weight and good wrapping. The moment I stepped out, I was amazed by its shock absorption, cushioning, and rebound effects. I was so focused on experiencing the 21k Lite's features that I didn't realize Codoon's positioning was off today. The 11k pace was erratic, and part of the track map was missing. The software showed a pace of 5:40, but the actual pace should be the recommended 5:30. After the run, my feet felt great and comfortable, with no blisters. Bimai truly achieved zero break-in.

The cloudy weather lasted for two days, and finally, a good day arrived. Today was clear and breezy, the perfect opportunity for a second 21k Lite test. I decided to do a 10k speed run to see how it felt beyond the official recommended pace. According to my plan, the rebound effect was excellent when I started the speed run. With each step, I could clearly feel a force bouncing back, providing undeniable knee protection. I chose the 42-size 21k Lite, weighing only 252 grams, showcasing its unique lightness. Today's 10k at a 4:50 pace was fully manageable for the 21k Lite, almost like a racing shoe.

Since the Bimai 21k Lite is defined as a half-marathon shoe, the ultimate test had to be a half-marathon. Today is October 1st, National Day, and while many people might be traveling, my plan was to use a half-marathon as the final test for the 21k Lite. First, to fully experience all the features and potential of the 21k Lite, and second, since I received support from Codoon and Bimai, I couldn't let them down; the evaluation report had to be of a certain quality. However, the weather was not favorable; it was hot and humid, with the possibility of rain at any time. Because I had things to do during the day, I chose to do the half-marathon test after 5 PM. Since these are marathon shoes, I recommend choosing a size larger because your feet will swell due to the heat generated during continuous running, which is how black toenails are formed. Today's half-marathon was tough. After the run, I felt hot and couldn't run freely. I gritted my teeth and persisted to the end but couldn't avoid getting soaked by rain at the 17k and 20k marks. The Bimai 21k Lite went through a rain battle and got wet. Although the run was difficult, the 21k Lite's rebound was still outstanding, with excellent arch support and a spacious forefoot, making it perfect for long runs. The sole is anti-slip and wear-resistant when wet. Overall, the foot feel was still great today, although the run was exhausting due to the bad weather. In conclusion, today's 21k run was tiring but without any issues.

Summary/Suggestions Chapter
Through three personal tests, the Bimai 21k Lite can perfectly handle both short-distance speed runs and long-distance marathons. Rather than calling it an advanced version of the Bimai 21k series, it is more like an enhanced version of the Bimai 42k. The shoelace anti-slip properties, wrapping, and sole support structure have all been improved. Especially, the Bimai 21k Lite does not retain the 'X' shape support structure of the 42k sole, making the shoe even lighter.

Some people may choose what is right for them rather than what is expensive, which is a way of being responsible for themselves. What suits you is the best, and the most expensive is not necessarily the most suitable. The Bimai 21k Lite can be described as stunning in terms of cost performance and design considerations. Although it may be slightly inferior to foreign brands in terms of technology, it is evident that Bimai is dedicated to making professional running shoes for Chinese people.

There is a strong smell of glue when unboxing, which has always been an issue with Bimai running shoes. As a Bimai fan, I'm used to it; leaving them outdoors for a while solves the problem. However, for new runners just getting to know Bimai running shoes, this might create a misconception and mislead them. Such a small issue could potentially lose many supporters, so I suggest Bimai address this problem as soon as possible. The color options are not as diverse and cool as the previous generation 21k. It is recommended to introduce more color options, similar to the 42k, which had more than ten color choices.

I am 685_Wind on the Street, and this is my detailed review of the Bimai 21k Lite. I was lucky to get a spot in the Nanjing Half Marathon, and I will definitely wear the Bimai 21k Lite to conquer the Nanjing Marathon. As I finish writing this review, Bimai has launched the third generation of the Pace series, which is related to running shoes with socks.
