I was very fortunate to be selected as a 21K lite review user, and I am grateful to Codoon for their trust in me. I quickly received the shoes sent by the platform and was shocked! Such a large package in my hand felt nothing like the weight of shoes I usually buy; it was extremely light. Opening the package, I found that unlike usual shoe boxes, it used anti-drop and shock-absorbing air cushions, with air cushions inside the shoes to prevent deformation. Bmai's attention to protection is very thoughtful, allowing users to immediately feel their sincerity and dedication.
Appearance
The black appearance with white accents gives a mysterious technological feel, which was my first impression. The shoes look very stylish, bringing higher focus to your running. The upper is designed with jacquard mesh fabric, making it look very comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. The combination of 3D printing technology gives the upper a leaf texture, making the 21K lite even lighter. The overall fit is good, protecting the ankles well without any sense of pressure on the feet, and the forefoot space is ample, preventing toe compression during running.
Sole
The midsole design remains unchanged, but the material has been switched to EVA, using a dam-like design for better cushioning. The outsole pattern increases the 21K lite's grip on the ground while reducing the shoe's weight. The use of lightweight, wear-resistant rubber combined with EVA hard rubber as support adds another highlight to the 21K lite.
Details
The shoelaces are black and white woven, with a slightly rough texture to the touch, and are very secure, so there's no need to worry about them coming loose during running. The forefoot part uses reflective material with a streamlined design that looks like a streak of starlight at night. The tongue part uses a connected design to keep it in place during running, better protecting the foot. The heel sides have reflective strips, adding a sense of safety during night runs.
Field Test
All tests were 10KM road runs (originally planned for 21KM, but adjusted to 10KM due to an injury on the right foot).
Day 1 of the review: Tried on the 21K lite, adjusted the fit between the shoes and my feet for the best running state. They felt very light with no heaviness.
Day 2 of the review: 10KM road night run, average pace 5 minutes 03 seconds, total time 50 minutes 31 seconds, personal best for 10KM.
Day 3 of the review: 10KM road night run, average pace 5 minutes 03 seconds, total time 50 minutes 24 seconds, another personal best.
During the review, the overall feeling of the shoes was light, helping me achieve two personal bests. The reduced weight was more noticeable in mid-to-long distance runs. The shoes are aptly named 21K. The breathability is good, and even with socks that are not very breathable, there was no feeling of stuffiness. The support and cushioning performance are also excellent, with a soft stepping feel and good ground contact.
This concludes the review of the Bmai 21K lite. As this is my first review, please forgive any lack of experience.
Lastly, I wish Codoon continued success and Bmai great sales!
