Review Report Codoon Compression Clothing Set Evaluation
First of all, thank you @Sports Trend Storefor giving me the opportunity to participate in the review of the Jinkuer compression clothing set. I also wish all Codoon runners a prosperous Year of the Monkey and a sporty Monkey Year! Nowadays, there are a plethora of compression clothing brands on the market. The characteristic of this Jinkuer 3D compression functional sports set is its gradient compression tightness. Below, I will share my personal wearing experience.
1. Appearance
This Jinkuer compression shirt features a round neck short sleeve design. The popular round neck can fit the body to the maximum extent, and the entire neckline is double-layered for durability and comfort. The main color of the compression shirt is black, with white compression lines on the chest temperature regulation area, logo, waist support area, and back sweat-wicking insulation area. The pants have white compression lines on the thighs and knees. All these areas are seamlessly woven by computer in one go.
The fabric of the compression suit is composed of 90% polyamide fiber and 10% spandex. The fabric feels quite comfortable to the touch, although it feels a bit thick. Sweat-wicking and breathable temperature control zones are designed in the areas with the highest breathability requirements, such as the neck, underarms, sides of the waist, and back. The hem of the compression shirt and the waistband of the pants are made of elastic fabric, with anti-slip strips designed to effectively prevent the shirt from rolling up and the pants from slipping down, providing good comfort.
2. Function and Usage Experience
(1) Compression
This Jinkuer compression shirt uses elastic fiber materials. When worn, the body feels wrapped, preventing unnecessary muscle vibrations. The gradient compression force in the chest temperature regulation area accelerates blood circulation and oxygen supply, while the back compression area provides stability to the shoulder blades during forward and backward movements. The entire compression suit is equipped with 3D gradient pressure zones around the waist, abdomen, thighs, and knee joints. This gradient compression technology can alleviate lactic acid buildup during exercise, reduce fatigue, and make limb movements more agile and powerful.
(2) Breathability
The Jinkuer compression shirt does not forget the essential features of sportswear, which are sweat-wicking and breathability. The chest temperature regulation area has a three-dimensional air convection layer, making it breathable without being stuffy. The underarm sweat-wicking and breathable holes use a sweat-wicking and breathable guide weave design. The back sweat-wicking insulation area is three-dimensionally hollow woven, playing a temperature control role. The waistband of the compression pants has hollow air exchange windows, forming an overall temperature control system. The various temperature regulation areas of this compression shirt are seamlessly woven, not pieced together, similar to a knitted wool sweater, with a three-dimensional structure and mixed layers. Although it feels thick to the touch, its biggest advantage is superior sweat-wicking. Even with heavy sweating during exercise, it does not feel stuffy. When the temperature drops, it forms an air protective layer to prevent body temperature from dropping. Based on my personal testing while running in the park multiple times, the sweat-wicking performance of this compression shirt is excellent. The sweat on the body surface is quickly absorbed by the compression shirt, which does not retain much sweat. Most of it is blown dry by the wind or evaporated, so the weight of the compression shirt does not increase, reducing the burden on the body.
(3) Runner's Experience
Running in the winter in Guangzhou, where the outdoor temperature is about 11 degrees Celsius, wearing the Jinkuer compression shirt feels like a second layer of skin. Recently, I ran several 5km and 10km runs in the South Suburb Park, and my body felt very comfortable. The shirt's wrapping is strong, and I did not feel cold. Movements during running were free and easy, and my leg muscles were relatively less fatigued, truly achieving the compression effect, comparable to some foreign brands. After running, the shirt was still dry, quick-drying, breathable, and close-fitting for warmth. The crotch of the compression pants is shaped for comfort, and the knee area has elastic compression treatment, providing continuous precise compression. The gradient compression force is just right for each part of the body, relieving muscle tension and fatigue.
3. Suggestions
Here are some personal suggestions during use:
1. Consider adding reflective strips to the compression shirt and pants to enhance safety during night runs;
2. Consider adding one or two small zippered pockets to the compression pants for carrying small items like change or access cards;
3. The packaging box of the compression suit is disposable. It is recommended to change it to a regular snap box or vacuum-sealed bag for easier storage of the compression suit;
4. Try to make the compression suit lighter and thinner, and offer more patterns and sizes for selection.
Overall, this Jinkuer compression shirt feels like a second layer of skin. Besides the 3D compression, it also has 3D sweat-wicking. My actual running experience was good, with decent compression and support. Every movement during exercise felt the core compression, which unconsciously reminded me to pay attention to my posture, improving exercise efficiency, relieving muscle tension, and reducing the risk of injury.
