Tears streaming...
This is the 3rd episode, let's go~
High energy alert: This article contains some food and a lot of...
Exclamation marks, yes, exclamation marks
Please do not read this when you are very hungry or excited
Last time, I mentioned that as a directionally challenged person, I got lost shortly after setting off. Luckily, after getting lost, I stumbled upon something I had never eaten before at a car repair shop: egg and shrimp pancake!! It had bean sprouts, minced meat, and a whole shrimp inside!!!
This is the finished product~
Guess how much it costs?
In Beijing, it's 2 yuan! Can you believe it? But here, it's only 1,000 Vietnamese dong each,One yuan is 3,300 Vietnamese dong, which means it only costs 0.3 yuan each!!!
And! Buy six, get one free!
Next, I call this the 'Universe's Super Invincible Whole Pig Trotter Vietnamese Noodles,' so delicious! The shop is packed early in the morning!!! The pig trotter is stewed until very tender, and the collagen-rich broth soaks the Vietnamese noodles, wow~ mouth-watering!!!
And! This only costs 20,000 Vietnamese dong!! Six yuan!!! Just think about Beijing,Sigh, too much to say, it's all tears.
After cycling all day, I returned to Hanoi, my whole body aching, and my injured foot was in unbearable pain. I quickly found a family inn to stay in.
Lying on the bed in the inn, I thought about how if I were at home now, my dad would be cooking, my mom would be nagging, and my dog would be by the bed keeping me company while I ate fruit. Thinking about it made me cry, crying made me fall asleep, sleeping made me hungry, and hunger woke me up...
Couldn't stand the hunger, got up and wandered around to find something to eat.
But even after wandering until dark, I didn't see anything in the village! Fortunately, on the way back, I saw an old lady making fried potato cakes by the roadside. There were 5 left, so I quickly bought them all! Seeing that I was a 'foreign wanderer,' the old lady quickly made two more and gave them to me. Good people live long and peaceful lives!!!
In the following days, I cycled 16 kilometers on the first day, painfully cycled 30 kilometers on the second day, and struggled to cycle 50 kilometers on the third day. Finally, I figured out the trick: cycle slowly, don't rush, the more you rush, the more tired you get. After a week, cycling 100 kilometers a day was no problem.
The northern part of France is mostly countryside, with no bustling areas. You have to endure the loneliness... After staying in the city for a long time, it's nice to see fields and egrets every day. 90% of the roads are good asphalt roads.
Everyone knows to bring some food when exercising. Besides water, I also like the following.
The super invincible dry food of every day is: baguette!!!!!!
I almost want to eat it every day because each place adds different ingredients, but they are all crispy and delicious baguettes, best eaten hot. The fillings are usually fish sausage, half an egg, fish balls, tomato slices, cucumber, etc.
You can buy them very cheaply in the countryside, 15,000 dong for two, equivalent to 4.5 yuan for two, 2.2 yuan each.
Talking too much about food is not beneficial, let me introduce Vietnam's phone and network.Buy a SIM card, and with 4G, you can check your location anytime.
Actually, as long as you can read this, you don't need a map at all~
In the picture below, the milestone near the bottom appears every kilometer.
The side marked 'QL 1A' means 'this road is QL 1A highway,' which is the main route running through Vietnam from north to south. Follow it, and you can travel from north to south; the front marked 'H.C.MINH' (abbreviation for Ho Chi Minh City) means continuing on, it's 649 kilometers to Ho Chi Minh City; the back indicates the distance to xxx in the opposite direction. The red part on top indicates: this is the 1242nd kilometer of QL 1A highway.
The sign below indicates the start of a town; after this sign, you enter the area of TRAM THU PHI.
This sign is similar to the first one, indicating this is the 1000th kilometer of 1A highway. Below it says, it's 7 kilometers to TAMKY town.
You can see these large signs at major intersections, indicating it's 870 kilometers to Ho Chi Minh City ahead, and 3 kilometers to xxx city to the left.
This is also a city landmark: entering Hoi An City.
These two signs are a pair, indicating the entrance and exit of a village.
300 meters ahead is a school~
How about it, hahaha, Vietnam's road signs are very detailed, right? It's like this nationwide, so there's no need to fear getting lost. Even if you do, just ask someone about '1A'~ hehehe (completely 'forgetting' my previous self who got lost~)
To be continued...
How about it, do you like miya's stories and comics?
The first episode had over 2.9 million reads, which was a pleasant surprise.
The second episode even surpassed the first, reaching over 3.07 million!!!
So happy, wow hahaha
