brave general professional running socks help you move forward happily
First of all, I would like to thank Codoon Gear Party for giving me the opportunity to review the Hanjiang Compression Sports Socks. Before applying for the review, I had heard of Hanjiang but had never actually used their products. The feedback from fellow runners around me was quite positive. Since Hanjiang's company is located in Hangzhou, I received the socks relatively quickly. However, due to recent high temperatures and rainy weather in the south, I couldn't conduct a thorough review of the Hanjiang socks, so the review report is somewhat delayed.
Upon opening the package, I found the Hanjiang sports socks inside a simple plastic bag. To be honest, for a price of 299 yuan, the packaging is too simple and lacks a premium feel. The outer packaging of a product leaves the first impression on the customer, which is crucial. I personally suggest that the packaging be improved in the future.
However, after opening the bag, I found that the fabric of the socks felt very comfortable to the touch. This suggests that they would be very comfortable to wear while running, making me eager to try them out. I chose a pair of peacock blue socks in size M-T2. This model comes in seven colors to choose from (I actually considered the bright pink but thought it was too flashy, so I gave up on it, shh!). So, having seven color options is quite sufficient in my opinion.

As seen in the pictures, the socks are marked with the letters L and R to distinguish between the left and right feet. Most socks do not have this distinction. Hanjiang's design, which differentiates between the left and right foot based on foot pressure, is very user-friendly. (The L on the left side is not very clear; this photo was taken after wearing them twice for 10km runs and washing them, indicating that they have pilled. The black part uses blended yarn, which is not as durable as expected and tends to pill easily.)
Below are the results from several field tests of the Hanjiang sports socks, focusing on four specific tests.
First Test (Road Running)
Date: June 27th evening; Route: West Lake cement road and arch bridge; Distance: 10km; Pace: 4:57
Experience: This was the first time I wore Hanjiang sports socks for a review. Upon wearing them, I immediately felt that the socks provided a compressive protection for the calves and calf muscles. Running felt unrestrictive, very free, and snug to the calves, highlighting the effectiveness of ergonomic principles. However, I chose the M-T2 size, and putting them on and taking them off was a bit difficult. I suggest improving this aspect in the future.
Second Test (Road Running)
Date: July 1st; Route: Qiantang River cement road; Distance: 10km; Pace: 5:58
Third Test(Trail running + road running, the weather was too hot, so I descended early)
Date: July 2nd; Route: Mountain running + walking; Distance: 10km; Pace: 9:28
Fourth Test(Road running: many uphill sections)
Date: July 9th; Route: Longjing route + West Lake; Distance: 21.11km; Pace: 5:28
Based on the above four field tests, the following conclusions can be drawn about the Hanjiang compression sports socks:
First:Hanjiang compression sports socks can effectively alleviate calf muscle fatigue and protect the calf muscles. This is especially noticeable during long-distance training on the Longjing route. Previously, without wearing Hanjiang compression socks, I would slow down as I ran and experience calf soreness. However, even without stretching after running with Hanjiang socks, I did not feel calf soreness. This demonstrates that Hanjiang compression socks, designed based on ergonomic principles, are excellent at protecting calf muscles, increasing leg strength, and reducing muscle fatigue.
Second: The left and right foot distinction in Hanjiang compression sports socks can effectively prevent deformation. Unlike most socks, which do not have a clear left and right foot distinction, Hanjiang's design ensures that the socks are worn correctly each time, reducing the risk of deformation due to human error.
Third: Hanjiang compression sports socks have good breathability and anti-slip properties. Especially in summer when sweating is common, the bar-shaped drainage design on the soles ensures good heat dissipation. The snug fit prevents the socks from slipping off during running, and the elastic band at the top is just right, without causing any pressure.
Fourth: The fabric of Hanjiang compression sports socks is comfortable, using Lycra elastic fibers, which feel very comfortable and fit the leg muscles well.
Fifth: There are seven color options, providing good variety in color choices.
Of course, Hanjiang compression sports socks are not perfect, and some shortcomings were found during the review:
First: They are difficult to put on and take off. The process of wearing and removing the socks is quite strenuous. It is suggested that this aspect be improved.
Second: The socks tend to pill at the toes. Although the toe and heel areas use blended yarn, which should be durable, pilling was observed during use. It is recommended to improve the fabric selection and usage for the toe and heel areas.
Third: The outer packaging is not premium enough and is too simple. It is suggested that the packaging be appropriately improved.
In summary, Hanjiang compression sports socks are overall a very good product, especially for marathons, trail running, and long-distance training. I believe they can effectively protect our calves and muscles, reduce muscle fatigue, and enhance our running experience. Once again, I would like to thank Hanjiang and Codoon for providing the opportunity for this review.
