craft bike shorts with suspenders review

Hello to all 'Codoon friends,' I'm very happy to participate in the review of CRAFT cycling shorts.

I live in the beautiful 'Egret Island' Xiamen. As a tourist city, it has many places suitable for cycling. I usually like to ride around Huandao Road, Wuyuan Bay, and Dongping Mountain. Riding freely along the blue sea while enjoying the sea breeze is my favorite.

Now, let me share my experience of wearing CRAFT cycling shorts during this period~

The main function of cycling shorts is to provide comfort for long rides by reducing friction and offering some shock absorption through the padded crotch. In this regard, CRAFT's cycling shorts are excellent.

They don't have the elastic band around the waist like ordinary cycling shorts, making them very comfortable and form-fitting. However, going to the bathroom is quite troublesome, perhaps because they are too snug. The crotch area feels a bit tight, giving a sense of restriction. I really like the softness of the padding and how well it adheres to my buttocks, almost as if it's glued to me. My previous cycling shorts from Decathlon didn't fit as well.

CRAFT has silicone anti-slip parts on the legs to ensure the shorts stay in place, but I always feel that the band makes my thighs feel tight. I chose size M, and it feels like the sizes run small overall, or maybe it's because my legs are relatively thick.

Here is a comparison with Decathlon cycling shorts. The padding of CRAFT is relatively softer than that of Decathlon.

In summary, CRAFT bib cycling shorts are worth buying! With the current discount, they are very competitive. After riding continuously for 3 hours, my buttocks didn't feel any pain. It's great!
