Bimai 42K running shoes high cost performance help you finish the race
Hello everyone, I am Bald Qiang who doesn't like cutting trees but loves running. I started running in the summer of 2015 after downloading Codoon, which has witnessed my journey as a novice runner. Currently, my half-marathon PB is 1:41 and my full marathon PB is 4:24. I would like to thank Codoon for providing me with the opportunity to review this time. The product I am reviewing is the new domestic brand Bmai Mile 42K professional road running shoes.

Bmai, an internet sports brand that has been established for just over two years, started with a dozen running enthusiasts and provides high-quality professional sports equipment for runners. A group of people who love running persist in doing something in the park that makes every runner happy.
Bmai focuses on running sports, continuously improving to provide comprehensive running solutions for enthusiasts, and becoming a trusted partner for runners.
Opening the package was quite a surprise. Instead of the usual paper shoe box, it came in a very lightweight, easy-to-store, waterproof, moisture-proof, and drop-resistant plastic air column packaging, which is an excellent choice for logistics transportation.
The outer silver packaging features the Chinese 'Bmai' and English 'BMAI', with a QR code and Chinese seal script as the inspiration, reflecting a combination of internet thinking and Eastern understated aesthetics.
The inner black packaging has basic information about the running shoes.
The filling inside the shoes is also designed like an airbag. (Embarrassingly) my daughter played with it and burst it before I could take a photo.
The new product is available in four color options: Basic Black, Bmai Purple, Fluorescent Yellow, and Pearl White (white is not yet available for sale).
Everyone has their own preferences. I chose the classic Bmai Purple over the flashy green and understated purple. From the front, you can see that the 42K has a wide last shape, standing elegantly.
From the side, it has a curvy and graceful appearance.
The rounded toe uses a soft TPU support piece, which is moderately hard, wear-resistant, and anti-kick, while also keeping the toe box from collapsing.
The heel is embedded with a hard TPU support piece and follows the geometric curvature of the heel, locking the heel firmly in place even during fast running.
The inner layer fits with an integrated woven tongue, giving your feet a good wrapping feel, and it won't shift during long-distance runs.
The hollow flat laces have an anti-slip design to effectively prevent them from coming loose during use.
The biggest feature of the insole is its segmentation, using 3D support surrounding dual-density ortholite foam insoles. The density of the yellow force area is higher than that of the blue area.
Taking out the insole, you can see the high-quality boom foam material in the midsole, which is used by many international brands, showing Bmai's sincerity.
The multi-layer, multi-density cushioning and stability materials in the midsole look a bit heavy but are very practical. The black and white EVA materials feel comfortable underfoot.
(Borrowing an anatomical diagram from the official website)
The 'X' shaped TPU insert connecting the inner arch and the forefoot ensures anti-torsion protection.
The outsole's rear section uses more wear-resistant rubber than the forefoot, which uses lighter rubber with better cushioning. The rear section uses high-strength wear-resistant rubber, making it more suitable for runners who land on their heels.
Reflective materials are used on the outer side of the toe, laces, tongue, and heel, providing maximum safety for night runners. The bold reflective '必' logo.
The reflective number 42.195 on the inner heel indicates that these are shoes designed for full marathon battles.
I weigh 71KG and am 179CM tall. I usually land on my heels when jogging, which fits the 42K's characteristics. I conducted four tests, each ranging from 10 to 15 kilometers, totaling about 50 kilometers. For this review, I chose a size larger and paired them with medium-thickness functional socks. They felt very solid on my feet. The inner material is silky, the heel material is thick and soft, with good wrapping, the shoe is lightweight, flexible, and my steps became lighter. The upper fits snugly around my foot, my toes move freely, the tongue is stable, and the laces don't easily come loose. The midsole's cushioning effect is consistent from heel to forefoot, with good elasticity. The transition from heel to forefoot is smooth, the outsole's grip and anti-slip performance are excellent, and the wear-resistant rubber's performance is comparable to international brands.
No running shoe is perfect. Due to the 42K's focus on protection during a full marathon, its breathability is somewhat lacking, but it is better than my two sub-top 'foot warmers'.
The new shoes have a slight odor and need to be aired out for a few days.
Summary:The high-cost performance Bmai Mile 42K professional road running shoes can help you comfortably and safely complete a full marathon!
