bimai 42k running shoes the pride of domestic running shoes
@StunningSuccess816
In March 2016, due to a herniated disc, I started to exercise more on the advice of my doctor. I began with swimming-style stretches, prone leg lifts, walking backward, and brisk walking, and gradually developed a passion for running, becoming increasingly obsessed and enthusiastic. Over this year-long running journey, I gained a lot and learned more about running shoes. I was fortunate to participate in the evaluation of the Bimai 42k running shoes. I am very grateful to Codoon and Bimai for giving me the opportunity to experience this excellent domestic product.

Appearance Details
From the packaging, the Bimai 42k running shoes break the traditional paper box packaging and use a vertical airbag arrangement design like a handbag. This design is shockproof, pressure-resistant, waterproof, and moisture-proof, ensuring the best logistics and transportation effect. The drawer-style shoe box is very creative, adding a lot of modern touches and new ideas from a visual perspective.
Visually, the Bimai purple running shoes exude luxury in a low-key manner, and pride in a humble way, creating a strong visual impact and sensory effect.
The back of the shoe features a bold logo resembling the Chinese character '必', significantly enhancing Bimai's brand recognition. The Arabic numeral 42.195 reflects the design intention of the running shoes, hoping everyone can complete a marathon easily and comfortably.
In terms of material, the overall shape of the shoes is relatively slender, feeling very light and thin in hand, making them very suitable for spring, summer, and autumn. The seamless film technology combined with the jacquard mesh upper design effectively bonds the mesh and support materials, providing strong wrapping for the feet and avoiding chafing during running. The large area of 3M reflective material is dazzling and eye-catching, enhancing the safety of night running.
The ergonomic shoe last design is more suitable for Asian foot shapes, so there's no need to worry about squeezing or rubbing toes while running.
The outsole uses different rubbers for the forefoot and heel, with the forefoot having stronger grip and the heel being more wear-resistant.
The dual-density ortholite material insole is soft, breathable, shock-absorbing, and resilient.
The flat shoelaces feature many 3M reflective designs, feeling rough and bumpy to the touch. This not only improves the safety of night running but also effectively prevents the shoelaces from coming loose during running.
The new midsole structure provides sufficient stability support and long-lasting resilience, controlling arch deformation caused by prolonged exercise.

In terms of use, the first evaluation: I did a 5.6km brisk walk in the park. The first time I wore them, the soles felt hard and stiff, and there was a noticeable thudding sound when walking, possibly because the new shoes needed to be broken in. But as the mileage increased, the cushioning effect of the shoes gradually became apparent, making each step lighter and more comfortable.
The second evaluation: I did a 10km road run on asphalt. Although the pace was not fast, I didn't encounter the annoying break-in period. At 5km, the feedback from the shoes became stronger, with a soft and bouncy feeling in each step, especially noticeable in the heel. After running 10km, there was no squeezing or chafing, and the shoes felt very fast on the feet.
The third evaluation: On May 21, I did a 5km night run. In the evening, the 3M reflective material design on the upper, shoelaces, and logo was very effective, reflecting light with each step and greatly improving the runner's visibility. This added a safety guarantee for night running enthusiasts. This night run also set a new personal best for my 5km.

The simple evaluation ends here. Overall, the Bimai 42k running shoes, as a new force in domestic brands, have reached such a high level, which is not easy. It changed my previous prejudice against domestic brands and increased my confidence in domestic running shoes. I personally believe that the Bimai 42k running shoes are worth having.Four major advantages:First, numerous technologies. The Bimai 42k running shoes use seamless film technology combined with a jacquard mesh upper, Boom foam technology dual-density ortholite foam insole, midfoot TPU support, medial anti-overpronation, heel TPU support, lightweight wear-resistant rubber, large area 3M reflective material, and many other new technologies, greatly improving the cost performance of the running shoes.
Second, reasonable price. The Bimai 42k running shoes are priced at 399 yuan, which I personally believe is absolutely value for money and worthy of the shoe's configuration and design.
Third, standard sizing. The sizing of the running shoes is relatively standard (half a size larger than Li Ning's running shoes). My foot length is 265mm, and size 42.5 is very suitable, with some room for stretching.
Fourth, excellent cushioning. The biggest advantage of the Bimai 42k running shoes is their cushioning effect. When running in them, the feedback felt by the feet is very strong, direct, and realistic.
In the future, I hope Bimai running shoes will achieve greater breakthroughs in color configuration, breathability, outsole durability, shoelace design, and production craftsmanship, bringing more surprises and better experiences to runners.
