I have known about KAILAS for a long time, not only because it is a big brand for trail running, outdoor, and mountaineering products, but also because I really like its logo, the playful little sun. Because of my love for it, I have been paying attention to it. I have applied to review this softshell jacket more than once. Thanks to Codoon and Sister Guan for finally making my wish come true. Since I went out to participate in two competitions and was on a business trip for a week after receiving the jacket, this report is slightly delayed by two days, but I assure you that the thorough testing is absolutely uncompromised!
1. About KAILAS:

2. My KAILAS:
The package was delivered to my workplace during the Labor Day holiday. On the first day back to work on May 2nd, I received Sister Guan's gift, which perfectly cured my post-holiday work syndrome, haha.
The packaging was intact, the jacket was clean and tidy, and the tags were all complete. The product information such as various high-tech elements, model, price, size, and washing instructions were all clear at a glance.
This time, the Feiling softshell jacket I reviewed is from the climbing series, specially tailored for mountaineering and wilderness survival training. It is KAILAS's commitment to climbing. The product uses various advanced technologies and materials such as lightweight, air circulation, and silver fiber plating. It has functions like increased breathability with more movement, permanent static elimination, and antibacterial deodorization. Not only does it provide good mobility in harsh environments, but it also offers excellent safety protection for outdoor enthusiasts.
I couldn't wait to put on the new jacket in the office and took some beautiful photos. The Feiling softshell jacket features a regular cut, a drop-tail hem, and a length that reaches the hips. The regular cut is slightly loose, making it convenient for free movement during climbing, hiking, and camping without feeling restricted. I am 160 cm tall and weigh 54 kg. I tried on size M, which was slightly loose. The beige softshell jacket felt very refreshing when worn, instantly transforming me into a fresh and clean look, hehe.
The Feiling women's softshell jacket has a hooded design with reflective strips on the back, increasing visibility in low light or nighttime conditions and enhancing safety during activities.
The hood is designed to be helmet-compatible, functioning as a wind and snow hat. It can be worn over other protective hats during heavy rain or strong winds, providing windproof and waterproof effects.
The front zipper and pocket zippers of the jacket all use high-end resin YKK zippers with windproof strips, effectively preventing the intrusion of cold wind and rain.
The collar and hem feature adjustable drawstrings, making it easy to operate with one hand and providing effective windproof and waterproof functions during outdoor activities.
The cuffs use elastic inserts, making it easy to wear and effectively preventing the invasion of cold air.
The fabric has excellent waterproof performance. Pouring half a cup of water on the jacket only forms water droplets on the surface without penetrating the fabric. A gentle shake makes all the water droplets roll off, keeping the jacket dry.
The Feiling softshell jacket's fabric consists of 90% polyester and 10% spandex, with a lining made of 100% polyester. The surface of the garment has been treated with water repellency. The fabric, combined with a three-dimensional yarn weave structure and a special windproof membrane, provides both windproof and waterproof functions while offering a dry and comfortable skin feel. The seam design cleverly fits the body shape, with exquisite workmanship. The hidden seam technique effectively prevents friction with the skin, reducing the risk of skin abrasions during movement.
The sealed zipper slant pockets on both sides of the jacket's surface are surprisingly large, capable of holding a long wallet, a 5.5-inch screen phone, and sunglasses. I think I could even fit a key in there, haha. This completely solves the problem of having no place to store personal items during exercise.
The two hidden pockets on the inside are also very large, easily accommodating a water bottle, phone, and other items. Since there are no zippers, they use a flat opening design to prevent items from falling out easily. During exercise, energy gels, salt tablets, and small snacks can also find a home here.
After rambling on for so long, it still doesn't fully express my love for Feiling. In summary, this is a stylish, durable, and lightweight softshell hooded jacket made from double-layer woven fabric. It has excellent windproof, warmth, and elasticity properties, making it suitable for mountaineering, camping, hiking, traveling, commuting, and leisure activities.
