a ye all terrain running shoes conquering all terrain who else but me
@Sweaty Bin Ge
March 18th, my lucky day! Xiao Dang (Codoon Equipment Party) informed me that I had won the 'Codoon Mall Equipment Review Opportunity (AYE All-Terrain Running Shoes Crowdfunding Test)'. So excited! I actually won!
Unboxing Surprise - Stunning Aye, Love at First Sight!
March 26th, Sunday, I checked the delivery status every day and finally saw that the Aye running shoes had arrived. I immediately called the courier to deliver them. The courier said, 'Don't you guys not work on weekends? I'll deliver it on Monday.' I said, 'Please deliver it now; I'll go to the office right away.' I couldn't wait.
The moment I received the package, I was thrilled! Opening the cardboard box, a pure black, drawer-style exquisite packaging box appeared before my eyes. The drawer had a small transparent window. Pulling out the drawer, the first thing that caught my eye was a small card with a prominent logo that read 'One purchase, lifetime benefit.' The Aye running shoes were wrapped tightly in a high-quality, semi-transparent paper. Unveiling the paper, the star of the show, AYE Aye, made a dazzling appearance!
The unique and grand tomato red/iris blue combination, the exquisite upturned toe design, the comfortable heel collar design, especially the midsole system designed based on the human chest rib protection principle, make Aye extraordinary, full of athletic and technological flair.
Look, no matter how you place them, they exude a domineering aura, like a beautiful landscape! It's worth mentioning that Aye's paper shoe supports are excellent, helping to maintain the shoe's shape (so I kept these supports well). Additionally, Aye thoughtfully provided a pair of spare tomato red laces.
First Run Test - Powerful Aye, Making Me Regret Not Meeting Sooner!
On March 26th, I happened to have a Codoon online marathon, so Aye accompanied me on my first run, covering 22 kilometers. I wasn't worried about new shoes causing blisters because, judging by its scientific design, Aye wouldn't hurt my feet. The heel collar design made my heels feel very comfortable, and overall, the fit was excellent. I completed the '2017 Canola Flower Marathon (Half Marathon)' around a ruin at the foot of a mountain. The route was mainly gravel, with some dirt and mud sections, and many ups and downs. Wearing Aye felt like walking on flat ground. Its stability, support, and shock absorption were impressive. After finishing the half marathon, I was drenched in sweat. After showering at home, I carefully checked my feet, and they were perfectly fine! Aye passed the first run test with flying colors! Aye's powerful performance made me regret not meeting it sooner!
Aye's outstanding performance is due to its high-tech Rebone framework. The 4-layer Rebone framework (surface layer - middle layer - insole - outer layer) is interlocked: from the phylon material surface layer that absorbs initial ground shocks, to the TPU material middle layer with an overhead layer and cross-rib structure that better absorbs shocks, to the dragon material insole that absorbs secondary ground shocks, and finally to the rubber material outer layer that prevents slipping and is wear-resistant. This perfect structure makes Aye running shoes substantial, and you can feel their excellent support, cushioning, and stability just by holding them.
Comprehensive Test - Impressive Aye, Winning My Heart!
My previous pair of ultra-light running shoes had served over 500 kilometers, and Aye's performance was remarkable. So, for every hike, run, or climb, Aye was my companion, becoming my inseparable friend. Whether on cement roads, asphalt roads, brick roads, sandy roads, mountain paths, grass, or muddy roads, whether in sunny or rainy weather, Aye always surprised me, providing care and protection for my feet and knees.

April 9th, Wuhan Marathon
Let's talk about the pre-race. On April 8th, Aye and I went to pick up the race pack and had a blast at the marathon expo. Aye looked great in photos (Look! Isn't Aye in the photos super cool and handsome?). Words are pale; let's go straight to the pictures.
April 9th, race day of the Wuhan Marathon. Wuhan. The north wind blows. Cloudy turning to light rain then heavy rain. At 7:30 AM, 22,000 passionate runners participating in the second Wuhan Marathon gathered at Hankou Riverside Park. With the enthusiastic support of 10 million Wuhan citizens, over 20,000 police officers, 1,769 medical staff, and 5,264 volunteers, the race started on time, rain or shine. Professional runners and enthusiasts alike crossed rivers and lakes, undeterred by wind and rain. Spectators, security, and volunteers cheered passionately, standing together through the storm. What can defeat the cold wind and rain is the passion, love, and enthusiasm.
I, code D4380, was fortunate to be one of the runners in the 2017 second Wuhan Marathon, even though I only ran the half marathon. In the wind and rain, Aye and I ran together. Aye's waterproof performance was quite good, and its anti-slip performance was even more commendable. It remained stable and strong on various wet and even flowing surfaces. As the rain intensified and the water on the road deepened, water finally seeped in through the overhead layer of the sole (I forgot to mention earlier, Aye's breathability is excellent, probably thanks to the overhead layer). Would my feet blister with water in the shoes? For the first time, I started to worry. But Aye surprised me again. After running 22 kilometers in the rain, my feet were still perfectly fine! So, in my article '2017 Wuhan Marathon, Running Together in the Rain, Unforgettable,' I emotionally wrote:
'Thank you, behind-the-scenes hero - my 'Aye'! For runners, the importance of running shoes is self-evident. Let's end with a photo of the running shoes and the finisher's medal! My 'Aye,' you worked hard crossing rivers and lakes!'

April 23rd, Shenzhen. Guangming-Jingkou Micro Marathon
Actually, after the rainy Wuhan Marathon, I could have submitted my review. But I wanted my article to be richer and more substantial. So, I signed up for the April 23rd Guangming-Jingkou Micro Marathon, which features 'an 11.5-kilometer route with 6 kilometers of urban roads, 2 kilometers of park greenways, 2 kilometers of rural roads, and 1.5 kilometers of mountain greenways,' perfectly validating Aye's feature - 'all-terrain running shoes'!
April 22nd, heavy rain in Shenzhen. April 23rd, many roads were wet. Regardless of the road conditions, Aye still performed excellently! Aye earned me another medal!

March 26th - April 23rd, 125KM+
Unknowingly, even without counting hiking and climbing, Aye has accompanied me for over 125 kilometers of running. Aye's various performances have convinced me: although it's an internet fashion sports innovation brand, AYE Aye's 'technology, fashion, health, and environmental protection' themed quality products are quite impressive! You deserve to have it!
Nitpicking - Not a Flaw but a Flaw
As mentioned earlier, my previous running shoes were ultra-light, weighing less than 200 grams each, while Aye's 4-layer Rebone framework makes it substantial, with each shoe weighing over 400 grams. For those used to ultra-light running shoes or lighter runners, Aye might feel heavy. Initially, I thought Aye's all-terrain running shoes were quite heavy and wondered if running long distances in them would be tiring. But actually, once you get used to them, the weight is not an issue.
