Unboxing

Just received the delivery, and the moment I opened the shoe box, I was touched by AYE's attention to detail! Airbags, QR codes, I think this is what an internet brand should have! The packaging made me feel that these are excellent shoes. The classic white and iris blue color scheme, derived from cool Korean design, is grand yet vibrant. The aesthetics are top-notch! The upper is made of mesh and PU film, breathable, soft, and flexible.

Cycling Test

As the saying goes, sharpening the axe won't delay the work of chopping firewood! No matter how good a pair of shoes is, it needs to be broken in with your feet. So, the first thing I did after receiving the shoes was to test them with a 200-kilometer ride! The first feeling when wearing them was that they were quite heavy, with a wedge heel, so they felt heavy! After all, they are cushioning running shoes, with a strong texture in the sole and midsole. The four-layer density ratio, high resilience TPU injection piece can effectively relieve the pressure on the feet from sudden stops and starts! The toe cap adopts a forward-tilted design. Tight and highly enveloping, so there was some friction on the sides of my toes after 200 kilometers, but this design helps with running force later, making you unconsciously want to step forward!

Jogging Test

After breaking them in with cycling, the first time I stepped onto the plastic track, I felt that these shoes were finally activated! Jogging felt very comfortable. The friction sensation disappeared. It is worth mentioning the heel collar design, with high-density high-elastic foam that effectively protects the ankle. The craftsmanship is very neat! The grip is also good, as can be seen from the material texture of the outsole! More suitable for wider and wilder road environments!

You put your heart into making them, I put my heart into testing them. Running a half marathon is a must. Alternating between bridge bricks, asphalt, track, grass, and other road conditions! Maintaining a steady pace of 5:40, the cushioning effect was quite noticeable when rushing downhill. This is also the highlight of these shoes. The midsole's design, inspired by the 12 ribs of the human body, supports the whole body, promotes shock absorption, and allows a natural rolling transition from the heel to the forefoot!

Speed Test
Later, I tried a road speed run! The first kilometer on the cement section, I didn't dare to accelerate, maintaining a normal pace of 5:40. The second kilometer on the asphalt road, whether it was the strong wind or fatigue or insufficient muscle strength, I felt a bit strained at 5:17. The third kilometer, I returned to a pace of 5:30... Later, I realized that the reason I increasingly liked AYE was its high-quality Flydragon phylon high-elastic flat wide outsole, with foot grooves that support without deformation! So much so that I wear them for running, walking, and commuting!

Additional details, the fixed buckle on the tongue may seem inconspicuous but effectively solves the problem of the tongue shifting to one side during exercise. Also thoughtfully provided are replacement laces, and you can mix and match black and white laces. The insole has added breathable holes, making it non-sticky when running! The details are well done!

Summary

In summary: These are suitable slow-running shoes for a pace of 5:30 to 6:00. Good support and wrapping! Decent cushioning and durability. Moderate elasticity. Average breathability. The price of 599 is a bit high. The best choice for jogging, cycling, and hiking! After all, the design is good!
