Editor's Note: #MinisterArrival# is a brand-new interview column launched by the Codoon Campus Club, aiming to let more friends/classmates learn about the various club ministers/minister candidates. This can also be considered a historical witness to the development of the Codoon Campus Club! The interview order is determined by the success of the incubation, with one issue per week. Today, we would like to recommend Hong Yalin from Central China Normal University!
Q: Hello Yalin, please introduce yourself to everyone!
A: I am a girl from Wuhan in the south. I love running and enjoy feeling the vitality of youth by running with energetic and lively friends; I also like to run alone, imagining the future and having a dialogue with my true self.
I love literature, enjoy reading various kinds of books, and use words to understand the world; I also like to write down my thoughts and share them with each of you.
I love life, every task is worth doing seriously, and nothing is worth fussing over.
Running is my secret mental base, where all my treasures are stored.
Q: How did you come to like sports?
A: After entering university, I had fewer clear goals, and life became confusing and lazy. I knew this was not the university life I had imagined, but I didn't know how to change it. Later, influenced by a teacher who loved running marathons, I decided to change my current situation, starting with running. So, I began running laps alone on the track at night, one lap after another, as if the future became clearer with each step. Later, I met a group of friends who also loved running, one, two, a group, and we started running together and growing together. That's how I fell in love with running.
Q: What have you gained from exercising?
A: The happiest thing is gaining a group of good friends. We can run faster and farther together and share our joys and sorrows. Because of our shared passion, we cherish it even more.
The most important thing is that I have become a better version of myself. Life has become more regular and controllable, I sleep better, wake up earlier, and every day I am full of energy. I have become slimmer and more spirited, more confident in facing the unknown future. Whether happy or sad, I go running, empty my mind, think, and then give myself a fresh start.
Q: What are your aspirations for the future?
A: In the future, I hope to write great texts, freely do what I love, meet the people I like, and be together.
Q: Introduce your team.
A: Codoon Wuhan Running Group Huashi Club started with just two or three people running together, and later more and more people joined. We have regular runs at Huashi every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. We have marathon experts who answer our running questions and share their running experiences, making our running group more professional; we also have many newcomers who have just joined. Although they only run three or four kilometers and their pace is not high, as long as they run and persist, they are all winners. We encourage and help each other, persist together, and grow together! Welcome to join us: Codoon Wuhan Running Group QQ: 450304369. Let's run together!
Q: What do you think is great about Codoon?
A: I love Codoon's green icon interface the most; it's the color of life!
Also, Codoon Bar, where you can see runners sharing their experiences and running gear, is a great place for runners to communicate.
The best thing is Codoon's events, with beautifully designed marathon medals that motivate me to run a half marathon almost every week!
Q: A sentence for Codoon's friends.
A: There is no such thing as failure in running or life, as long as you refuse to stop. Keep moving, love running, use Codoon!
