rzmask smog mask review

I! Want! To! Write! A! Review! Report! Now!

Writing this review report is absolutely not due to any coercion from the librarian, nor is it because of the editor's urging, and definitely not because the motivator is staring at me with a whip in hand!

Everything is driven by my eagerness to excel and fulfill the promise I made when I applied!

After all, our librarian sent the review product along with instructions!

Our librarian made it very clear, didn't she?

"For exercise, use Codoon!"

"Quality over speed for review reports!" (Hmm, repeating this a few times feels a bit odd. Did Tang Sanzang say this when fetching the scriptures from the West? Did Sun Wukong know? What did the White Dragon Horse think?)

Alright, back to the main topic. If I keep rambling, I might never get another chance to write a review.

1. Appearance (☆☆☆☆☆)

First, let's talk about the appearance. There are some tips for wearing it, so pay attention.

The RZ mask is quite lightweight overall, with a certain elasticity to the material, allowing it to stretch. The holes and ventilation mesh on the outside of the mask are likely to prevent fogging.

The packaging includes one mask, two filters (one already installed), one mask bag (with a nice zipper), and a pair of detachable one-way valves. The mask's covering part consists of two layers of fabric sandwiching 2-3 millimeters of rubber. There is a slight rubber smell initially, but it's minimal.

There are two highlights when wearing it:

1. There is a clip at the nose area to secure it to the bridge of your nose (though unfortunately, my family monkey said, but you don't have a nose bridge, hahaha).

2. Around the neck, there is an anti-slip treatment, and the back is adhesive rather than ear loops, preventing ear pain during long-term wear. More details will be discussed in the comfort section.

However, you need to pay attention to the appearance when wearing it, as the mask is quite large. High alert ahead.

Of course, this is an incorrect demonstration. The correct demonstration of the appearance and wearing effect is as follows.

Wearing it feels a bit tight on the nose, but you can adjust the tightness to solve this. Once the mask is on, it fits the face well. Adjusting the metal nose clip to the right size (a difficult process of finding the nose bridge), the mask doesn't wobble much.

It looks pretty cool when worn, so I give the appearance five stars.

2. Comfort (☆☆☆☆)

I must admit, when the mask first arrived, I was excited to quickly write and submit the review report, but the weather didn't cooperate. Yes, no smog! No smog! No smog!

So, I wore the anti-smog mask and watched an entire episode of "Eternal Love" to test its comfort. After watching, how should I put it?

The moment I took off the mask, I felt like I had jumped off the Zhu Xian Terrace.

However, after an entire episode of "Eternal Love," there was no significant discomfort. The next day, I ran 11 kilometers around West Lake. After the run, the mask's cool appearance easily attracted attention, so you need a strong sense of self-confidence.

Comfort is also related to the fit and seal. I checked the sizes on Taobao and recommend choosing the right size based on your head circumference. Most importantly, your nose bridge shouldn't be too low!

So, overall, I rate the comfort at four stars.

3. Anti-smog Effect

The RZ mask's inner valve has "Open" and "Close" positions. I tested it by rotating the inner valve to the "Open" position according to the directions. Once opened, you can see a thin, soft rubber pad inside, which ensures normal exhalation while preventing outside air from directly entering the mask to some extent, effectively providing anti-smog protection.

4. Conclusion

When considering an anti-smog mask, I think you should consider the following four points: filtration specifications, no air leakage, smooth breathing, and a breathing valve.

The RZ mask meets all these criteria.

However, I can't help but say one last thing.

Anti-smog masks only provide partial protection. In severe smog conditions, it's better to exercise indoors. After all, Codoon Academy now offers a lot of fitness tips.

So, librarian, how's my advertisement? (Librarian: It's solid!)
