bimai mile21k running shoes a try to conquer yourself

A steady stream of water flows, Yang Liyu.

This is my third review on Codoon. First of all, I would like to thank Xiao Dang and Mr. Dong for the opportunity.

I. Introduction

I've been running marathons for over a year and a half. Believe it or not, the Bimai 21K is my second pair of running shoes. My first pair has clocked nearly 1000KM and is still in use, exceeding the typical lifespan of running shoes. I don't usually pamper my running shoes during races or training because I know their mission is to run and challenge all terrains. I love my running shoes; they are my second love. Initially, I knew little about the Bimai brand and was hesitant to buy their shoes, fearing it would be a waste of money and effort. However, after trying the Bimai 21K, my perception of the brand completely changed.

II. Overview

1. Appearance: I received the shoes on the afternoon of January 15, 2017. Upon opening the package, I was pleasantly surprised: the shoes, packaging, and accessories were very impressive!

In terms of looks, no shoe can compete with Bimai. Bimai is definitely the leader in aesthetic appeal!

2. Craftsmanship: Whether you look at the sole or the body of the shoe, the Bimai 21K is meticulously and skillfully made. The heel, toe, and sides feature 3M reflective logos, enhancing safety during night runs.

III. Details

1. Sole: The sole features horizontal grooves, with LITERB lightweight rubber on the forefoot and DURARB wear-resistant rubber on high-wear areas of the heel. The wear-resistant rubber is heavier, so it can't be used on the entire sole. The forefoot grooves make bending easier without burdening your feet. The TPU material in the sole and arch provides strong support and effectively reduces knee impact during running. The cushioning is impressive, thanks to the dual-density midsole design, which is especially beneficial for heavier runners. My first impression was that the shoes are very bouncy, though the elasticity decreases over long distances.

2. Toe: The silicone on the sole extends to the toe, making it asymmetrical to protect the toes from injury.

3. Body: The shoe body is mostly made of sandwich mesh, which solves the breathability issue well. After a half-marathon, my feet felt comfortable. This design also promotes air circulation inside the shoe.

IV. Field Test

1. Location: Wannian County, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province

Time: January 10, 2017, 6:16 AM

Distance: 10KM

Surface: Track

Experience: The Bimai 21K feels average on the track, but the combination of its elasticity and the slight bounce of the track provides a very comfortable running experience. After 10KM, I felt no fatigue.

2. Location: Wannian County, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province

Time: January 29, 2017, 6:07 AM

Distance: 20KM

Surface: Road

Experience: After running 20KM on New Year's Day, my opinion of the Bimai 21K improved further. Initially, I thought its elasticity was only suitable for tracks, but it turns out the Bimai is excellent for road running too. However, note that the Bimai 21K is a half-marathon slow running shoe. For speed or distances beyond a half-marathon, it's not ideal. Specialization matters.

V. Conclusion

To test the overall durability of the Bimai 21K, I delayed writing this review until the last day. During this period, I ran a total of 117KM with the Bimai 21K, and there was no significant wear on the sole or the shoe overall.

So, you can rest assured about its durability. The overall feel of these running shoes is very comfortable and supportive. However, they have limitations: as running distance or speed increases, comfort decreases significantly. Therefore, I highly recommend these shoes for beginners. The Bimai 21K will help you grow quickly; it's the best choice for you!
