essential mile21k running shoes entry level must have affordable running shoes
Received the Codoon gear party's Bmai Mile21kⅡ jogging shoes were from last year. On the day of a friend's gathering, I had a few drinks and didn't really get a good look at the shoes. I just knew they were flashy, and someone even said they looked like women's shoes, which made me quite embarrassed. The next day, after sobering up, I took a proper look at the new shoes.
Without further ado, let's look at the pictures.
The shoebox has a white base with the purple Bmai logo, which is both aesthetically pleasing and straightforward.
The side of the shoe has the label. I usually wear size 39, but I applied for size 40 as per usual practice, which is one size larger than my daily shoes. It turned out to be the perfect fit.
Here's a full view; you can see the shoes are very well-made with vibrant colors, truly a flashy tool.
The upper part of the shoe uses a mesh knit structure for ventilation. The toe cap is made of PU leather, and the side has 'mile 21k' lettering, all paired with reflective materials to increase safety during night runs.
The tongue has the Bmai logo, and both the design and craftsmanship are exquisite. However, the laces are a bit short and not long enough for a secure tying method.
The insole has a moderate thickness and also features the Bmai logo.
The outsole's front part is made of lightweight rubber, the heel part is made of wear-resistant rubber, and the middle part has a midfoot support piece. Overall, the wear resistance seems good. This is the wear condition after I ran 72 km in four sessions.
Above that is the midsole cushioning and rebound section. Internally, it uses Boom material, similar to Saucony's Everun and Adidas's Boost. This material can absorb more impact when the feet land, enhancing the cushioning performance of the sole. In actual running tests, the sole felt a bit hard, possibly because I weigh only 110 pounds, so the feedback wasn't very noticeable. After a while, the ball of my left foot felt a burning sensation.
Finally, here's a photo of the shoes on my feet. Apologies for the poor angle.
In summary: These Bmai 21k running shoes are well-crafted, flashy in color, and affordably priced, making them an excellent choice for beginner runners.
Suggestions: 1. Codoon should add this shoe to the options for personal gear selection; 2. Can the color options be more diverse?
