bi mai mile21k running shoes review hundred kilometers testing
Hello everyone, I am a running enthusiast from the Liaoning region in Northeast China. On Codoon, I go by the name 'Recently Quite Busy.' I am a member of the 'Jinzhou Running Club' and a big fan of Codoon! I would like to thank Sister Dang for giving me the opportunity to review the Bmai Mile21K. Having had some experience with reviews, I took photos of every step after receiving the 'Bmai Mile21K 2nd Generation' on January 16, 2017, to ensure a responsible review. Here is a photo of the Mile21 upon receipt.
The seller used the fastest and safest SF Express for shipping. The secure bubble wrap ensured the safe transport of the Bmai Mile21 running shoes, preventing any deformation. The meticulous arrangements by the seller and Sister Dang show the importance placed on the Bmai Mile21 review! Therefore, I am committed to providing a fair, just, and open review of the Bmai Mile21. Upon opening the package, I was impressed by the bright colors, full of energy and vitality, perfect for young people. Although the rubber smell was strong and a bit pungent, my excitement to try on the Mile21 was uncontrollable. The first impression upon wearing them was genuinely good—strong wrapping and firm grip. Every angle of the shoe was controlled by my feet, and I decided to test run 10 kilometers that night.
In the first two kilometers of wearing the Mile21, there was a slight tightness, which I felt was a psychological reaction to wearing new shoes. After two kilometers, the comfort improved significantly. The front upper part of the shoe is not particularly thick, so the insulation is not great, and my feet felt a bit cold initially. Additionally, January 16, 2017, was the last day of the coldest period, and running after 7 PM with a temperature of -13°C was challenging. To complete the review, I ignored the cold feet and continued running. By the time I reached 5-6 kilometers, my body heat started to kick in, and my feet were no longer cold. I successfully completed the test run of the Bmai Mile21. Upon returning home, I carefully checked the Mile21—the pungent smell had disappeared, the shoe surface was not deformed, and the sole showed no wear. Of course, running just over ten kilometers is not enough to prove the quality of a running shoe, so I decided to test the Bmai Mile21 with a half marathon next time!
On the evening of January 18, 2017, at 7 PM, I resolutely wore the Bmai Mile21 again to challenge a half marathon of 21.56 kilometers. Despite the cold weather, thinking of Sister Dang's trust and support made me feel warm. The heat above my head in the first photo proves the heat generated from within my body! This time, I tried running on roads, tracks, lawns, and snowy surfaces. The Bmai Mile21's wrapping was indeed excellent. Running on the rubber track added elasticity, the softness of the lawn increased my desire to continue running, and there was no slipping on the icy surface. The Bmai Mile21 truly demonstrated its firm grip. After running 21.56 kilometers, I checked the shoes at home—no deformation on the surface and no wear on the sole.
On the evening of January 20, 2017, I wore the Bmai Mile21 for the third time and ran 16.02 kilometers! Since I started testing the Bmai Mile21, I haven't thought about how many kilometers I've run, how many more to run, which direction to run, or whether to run faster. Instead, I focused on the feelings the Bmai Mile21 gave me. Every kilometer and every step was accompanied by Sister Dang's support. Occasionally, I tried stomping hard to test the softness of the Bmai Mile21, and I felt a sense of pride—Bmai Mile21 is my best running shoe, and I like it very much. Today is the weekend, and I will continue testing the Bmai Mile21 with a morning run tomorrow!
On the morning of January 21, 2017, at 5:30 AM, I started my fourth test run with the Bmai Mile21, running 17.28 kilometers! The first and second photos are before and after the run, and the ice on my chin proves the coldness of the fifth day of the coldest period in Northeast China. Running from night to dawn, from a black hat to white frost, the morning temperature reached as low as -16°C. I used a slow run to experience the feelings the Bmai Mile21 gave me. The shock absorption was indeed impressive, giving a feeling of running on grass from start to finish, and the Bmai Mile21's protection helped reduce knee strain!
On February 1, 2017, after being busy visiting relatives and friends during the New Year, I finally wore the Bmai Mile21 again and continued testing. I was so eager that I directly ran a half marathon of 21.22 kilometers. This time, I tested on mountain roads, icy roads, wooden walkways, and highways. Even on uneven mountain roads, there was no discomfort, and there was no slipping on icy roads, further verifying the Bmai Mile21's stable and firm grip!
On February 2, 2017, I walked 12.21 kilometers. Today, I seemed to forget that I was reviewing the shoes, taking photos while walking. However, after walking 12.21 kilometers, I felt the shoes were a bit tight, perhaps because running shoes with strong wrapping are not suitable for walking!

In summary, although wearing the Bmai Mile21 in the cold Northeast can be a bit chilly, it is bearable, which also indicates the good breathability of the Bmai Mile21. The effective shock absorption and cushioning of the Bmai Mile21 help protect the runner's knees, especially on snowy surfaces, where the firm grip is more evident. I tried fast running, slow running, stomping, and walking, and tested on different surfaces (roads, rubber tracks, lawns, icy roads, mountain roads, wooden walkways), accumulating 100 kilometers. I recommend the Bmai Mile21 as a top choice among running shoes in the same price range. The Bmai Mile21 is worth having!
