bimai mile21k cool appearance strong feedback

Due to the birth of my son, this review report is slightly delayed. However, we can't leave the matters of the Year of the Monkey to the Year of the Rooster, right? (smiley face)

For this review of the must-buy running shoes on Codoon, 50 runners were selected, which is the largest number I've seen in a review, indicating Must-Buy's emphasis on the review and confidence in their product. I've tested the shoes about four times since receiving them, on roads, treadmills, rainy roads, and tracks. Unfortunately, each review was done solo, so I could only take close-up shots of the shoes and not full-body shots. I hope fellow runners understand.

First, let's talk about the appearance, which is a major selling point of Must-Buy running shoes. The purple shoes paired with pink accents are very eye-catching but not gaudy. Runners always hope to stand out on the track, and Must-Buy running shoes undoubtedly make you the center of attention, especially for men. The silver reflective strips and light green soles create a strong contrast with the main color, making the runner's feet shine. The beautiful pattern designs on the soles reflect the cool and trendy vibe of young people.

I usually like to wear SAUCONY's blue and orange IOS2, which is somewhat similar in color to these Must-Buy shoes. On the day I received the pink leg guards and blue waist pack from a Codoon live event, the combination looked really stylish. However, for a big guy like me, is such a color combination really appropriate to wear out?

For frequent runners, the weight of running shoes is very important. As soon as I put on these Must-Buy shoes, they felt heavy, but correspondingly, they had good wrapping. On the scale, a single shoe weighed 350 grams, making them the heaviest among the more than ten pairs of running shoes I've worn. I remember the last time I participated in a Codoon review, the Decathlon trail running shoes weighed only 270 grams. For marathon runners, the combined weight of 700 grams for both shoes can significantly impact speed.

First, I tested them on a treadmill. Due to the heavy smog in Chengdu recently, the treadmill is my most commonly used running method. I'm used to wearing ASICS shoes that weigh around 250 grams. Running at a pace of 4:30 per kilometer in the Must-Buy shoes for about 2 kilometers, my feet started to feel tight. This shows the disadvantage of the shoes' weight. This discomfort disappeared after 15 kilometers. The feedback after 15 kilometers was quite strong, which might be related to the new shoes and the thick soles. Strong feedback is very tempting for runners participating in medium to long-distance races without aiming for a personal best.

It should also be noted that during the first 5 kilometers, running at a pace of 4:30 to 4:40 per kilometer, the shoelaces came loose more than once. With the same way of tying the laces, my ASICS N18 and SAUCONY IOS shoes never had this problem during a full marathon. This might be related to the design of the shoelaces. In other reviews, when the pace was reduced to around 5 minutes per kilometer, the shoelaces did not come loose.

Next, I tested them on roads and tracks. On the soft surface of the rubber track, the weight disadvantage of the shoes was not as apparent, but the impact on speed was still noticeable, and there was slight discomfort around the ankles. During the road running test, probably due to the new shoes, there was a significant feeling of fatigue around the ankles. In the rainy weather test, the shoes performed well in terms of slip resistance, indicating they can be used for trail running.

In summary, the design of Must-Buy running shoes is outstanding, making them stand out among my collection of running shoes. Due to their heavy weight, they are not suitable for short-distance speed runs. They provide good feedback for medium to long distances and are suitable for runs where you are not aiming for a personal best.

However, due to the birth of my little monkey, the distance I've run in the Must-Buy shoes is less than 100 kilometers. I believe other runners will mention other advantages or disadvantages in their review reports. Finally, here's a photo of my baby. Happy New Year to everyone!
