Unboxing:

It is evident that Bmai put a lot of thought into the packaging. The outer layer uses bubble wrap and Bmai logo tape, providing perfect protection against impact and drops. The white box with purple lettering is simple and elegant. Upon taking out the shoes, I was amazed. The deep blue upper is seamlessly integrated with no-sew overlays, gradient jacquard mesh, and a striking blue-green-orange tri-color design. The QR code stamp-style logo is incredibly stylish. This is the running shoe of my dreams! (I personally love this logo design)

First wear experience: The shoes fit perfectly on the instep. After wearing them for a few hours, they are comfortable and breathable. The inside has a thin sponge layer and a fine mesh upper fabric. The upper feels light and thin, with excellent breathability and sufficient wrapping ability. It provides a more comfortable experience for the instep, with a good sense of comfort and wrapping after wearing. The built-in rubber insole also has a good cushioning effect.

TEST 1: Five-kilometer road run

In the early morning of the city, there are not many vehicles and pedestrians, so I decided to choose a road run for the first test. I turned on my Bluetooth earphones, played some slow-paced music, and ran through the city streets at the advertised pace of 6:30 per kilometer for the Bmai 21KII. During the run, I could feel the continuous feedback from the Bmai 21K2, with smooth cushioning and excellent grip during turns, which pleasantly surprised me. The moving scenery made my previous concerns about slip resistance and the comfort of my feet and ankles disappear.

TEST 2: Ten-kilometer park and city road

When speeding up after four kilometers, there was a feeling that made me want to slow down. The harder I tried to run forward, the more uncomfortable it felt. However, when the pace was around 5-6 minutes per kilometer, it felt very easy. Every step was very stable, truly living up to its reputation as a practical cushioning running shoe.

TEST 3: Half-marathon mixed terrain

There was no slipping throughout the run. The shoe's grip was sufficient to support a pace of around six minutes per kilometer for normal starts, stops, and accelerations. There was no discomfort when landing on the full foot or the heel. After taking off the shoes, there was only slight swelling in the feet. The overall breathability of the shoes was good, and there was no feeling of overheating.

Review Summary:

The Bmai 21K2 is stylish and offers excellent cushioning and support for the feet, making it very suitable for slow running. However, if you want to run competitively, you should choose other types of running shoes. The downside is that the outsole's durability is average. After several tests, there were noticeable wear marks on the heel.
