bimai mile 21 running shoes good conscience production
I am very fortunate to be one of the reviewers for the Bmai 21K road running shoes. Thanks to Codoon for the event. Let me briefly introduce my running experience, which might give some credibility to my review. I started running in March 2015, and it's been nearly two years now. I've participated in 5K, 10K, half marathons, full marathons, and even 12-hour ultra marathons. Success in running comes from persistence and determination. I have some insights into running shoes. I've worn various brands like Li-Ning, Anta, Do-Win, and Asics. This time, I was really attracted by Bmai, the 'Muji' of the running world.
Let's cut to the chase and unbox the shoes.
1. Unboxing Review: Seeing is Believing
Bmai's attention to detail makes me feel at ease.
The brand logo on the box caught my eye. I'm also very interested in design, and it didn't disappoint me.
Unveiling the shoes...
I chose the flashy purple, which is not something everyone can pull off. Bmai's color matching is just right. Although I don't like to be ostentatious, when it comes to running, why not stand out? I'm still young! Flashy purple, tight pants, fluorescent green T-shirt—just imagine it.
Bmai's details: the PU film and mesh upper, EVA midsole—it's not only visually appealing but also provides enough cushioning. The insole material is excellent. Compared to my previous Asics, it's on par. It's a conscientious product among domestic running shoes.
After trying on the Bmai 21K, I felt that the heel cushioning wasn't very noticeable. I think it's more suitable for heavier runners. The fit is excellent, making the shoes feel like an extension of my feet. The size is just right, but I recommend buying half a size larger to give your feet enough space. This prevents black toenails from running too fast during races. Don't ask me how I know—I still have two toenails that haven't grown back...
2. Road Running Review: Let's See the Results on the Road
For the first test, I ran a 10K. The initial 500 meters were on a dirt road, and the cushioning was noticeable. On the road, the shoe's cushioning wasn't as significant. The new shoes felt a bit uncomfortable at first. For my weight, the shoes felt a bit heavy, but the overall fit and grip were good. After 10K, I didn't feel significantly tired. Maybe I have good running techniques and know how to handle new shoes. I felt proud...
For the second test, I ran a fast 5K. Overall, I was satisfied. I finished in 23 minutes and 23 seconds. The strong fit made me feel like the shoes belonged on my feet. The first break-in was successful. The sole's support was suitable for my slightly high arches. It's a quality domestic product. I support Bmai and feel proud that such a good product can come from a domestic brand!
For new shoes, I personally don't recommend running long distances or at high speeds immediately. It not only damages the shoes but also hurts your feet! Running experience is built step by step; there are no shortcuts. I want to remind everyone that speed and distance are not the primary goals of running. Healthy running and constantly surpassing yourself are the true essence of long-term persistence! Bmai, sure to sell well! This concludes my review of the Bmai 21K!
