codoon brand arm guard review
After the smog invasion
Beijing rarely has good weather
So I started my running journey in the warm midday sun
Because relatively speaking, the temperature wasn't too low
Plus the warm midday sun
So I chose a more lightweight and comfortable quick-dry T-shirt with arm sleeves
(First, let's share some pictures)
Since I've been using arm sleeves quite a bit, let's talk about this pair. Before that, let's discuss the purpose of arm sleeves: mainly to prevent muscle strains, and the tight design also helps prevent muscle vibrations, reducing energy consumption.
Some arm sleeves have added crash pads at the elbows, mainly used for intense physical sports like basketball. Running and cycling arm sleeves usually don't have crash pads; their main functions are sun protection and preventing strains, with more breathable materials.
These arm sleeves come with a mesh storage bag, making them very convenient to store and carry. It can also be used as a small laundry bag to separate from other clothes (it's recommended to wash them after each use due to sweat salt accumulation).
Of course, I use the black version, but there's also a green one available.

As the saying goes, details determine success or failure, so I always pay attention to product details! This pair of arm sleeves has many surprising details. Most of my previous arm gear was for basketball, so they were mainly for basic protection. Compared to those, this pair has many thoughtful features.
The design fits the human arm well, especially in the forearm area:
The forearm part uses a patchwork design that fits the shape of the forearm. This provides better compression for the forearm muscles. During running (especially without warm-up or regular exercise), forearm muscles can feel sore, and these arm sleeves help alleviate that soreness.
The reflective strip design at the seams is also a thoughtful feature, providing safety for night runners.
(Since there's no reflective effect during the day, let's use the official picture to show it)
Another detail is the added seam at the elbow bend. This makes it easier to bend the elbow and enhances the compression performance of the arm sleeves.
Because arm sleeves can slip during running, a thoughtful addition is the anti-slip rubber line.
The first feeling when wearing them is comfort. There's no sense of restriction during arm swings while running, and even after sweating at 5 kilometers, there's no stuffy feeling; the breathability is quite good. After 10 kilometers, there was no soreness in the arms, and the overall compression performance was decent.
The second time I wore these arm sleeves was for a basketball session in an indoor gym. The temperature was relatively high, and I sweated a lot, but there was no stuffy feeling, and the sweat quickly evaporated. I often got scratched while playing basketball, but this time I didn't have to worry about injuries.
Both test times were rushed, so I didn't adjust the position of the arm sleeves. The correct way to wear them is to have the green logo facing outward to maximize their effectiveness. So please use them correctly.
