2016 Buick Codoon City Pacers Mid-Year Review

From March until now, the Buick Codoon City Pacers have held four themed essay contests. Here, Codoon friends actively share their running stories, giving running a richer meaning. Each pacer has left a deep impression on us. Next, follow the editor to once again feel the charm of the pacers!

First Theme: Fall in Love Through Running

@Jason-yip:Love is like running. Getting to know each other, sometimes having small quarrels, slowly stabilizing, entering the hall of marriage, and what awaits us is a longer life. We will continue to run, just like we hold on to our love.

@ Derrick tao:In 2011,I crossed sandstorms and fires to reach Iraq. From then on, I ran from the comfort of the campus track to the rolling sands of Iraq.

@ whooping:Thanks to my lover—running, it gave me the courage to start, the determination to keep trying, and the childlike joy.Along the waywith it by my side, I am very satisfied.

In Codoon, some people have had a wonderful love affair through running, and some have taken running as their lifelong lover. What about you? Is your running love story happening?

Second Theme: Never Miss Out on Running and Food

@Silly BearKitty: If there is a next life, I will do three things: marry him, cook for him, and run with him.

@AubreyUncle Monster: As an air traffic controller, running and food are my basic components outside of work.

@_Dawn is Coming: In my eyes, there is no sadness that cannot be solved by running a few laps. If there is, then add a meal.

Food and running, neither can be missed! Nothing can stop us from being happy foodies!

Third Theme: Finding the Codoon Running Family

@Wangwang Run: Dear family, your health is my greatest happiness in this life!

@Chaserlulu: The red scarves fluttering on the track, you are the harvest of my teaching support. My running family is more exciting because of you.

@Ben'er Ben'er Ben: The members of the blind runners and the blind running group family, you let me know that while running, you can also do many more meaningful things. I am willing to always be your running eyes! You are the source of my motivation!

Running has never been just a personal matter, but also a family matter. You accompany me, I accompany you, and we draw the motivation and energy to keep running from each other. Home is the eternal harbor for runners.

Fourth Theme: See the World in the Name of Running

@Thomas-Lee: No matter where I go, running shoes are a must for my travels. From Paris to India, the bricklaying continues, and so does the running.

@cafefox: Running a half marathon in each city, from ramen to Tibetan noodles, Chongqing noodles to Beijing fried sauce noodles, I think after this round, I have figured it out, live for myself.

@Mr. Ice Hole:As a geologist, my footprints are all over the country. Deserts, gobi, mountains, hills... these are my 'offices.' No matter where I go, I will keep running.

In life, no road is walked in vain. Whether winding or straight, they all take you to distant places. Small steps, big steps, walking or running, every step counts.
