Editor's Warm Reminder—Summer Eating Tips

1.Summer diet should be light

In summer, it is best to eat light, bitter, nutritious, and easily digestible foods. Avoid greasy foods that hinder digestion and do not overeat. The hot and humid summer weather makes bitter foods ideal as they can clear heat, strengthen the spleen, and increase appetite.

2Pay attention to dietary balance in summer

Combine fine and coarse grains, and balance liquid and solid foods. Pair meat with vegetables reasonably. In summer, focus on green vegetables, melons, and beans, supplemented by meat. Lean pork, beef, duck, and fish are good choices for meat.

3Stay hydrated in summer

Drink more water in summer, preferably warm water, and aim for seven to eight glasses of plain water a day. Keep your body hydrated at all times.

Character Introduction:

@CarinaChenchenReal name Yan Chenjin, a girl who loves sports and food.

Because I love to eat, I learned to make delicious food myself; because I am mindful of calories, I try to make some low-calorie 'fake desserts.' I found that oil-free and low-sugar can also be very tasty, and occasionally indulging a little is a small happiness in life.

For me, good food and a good figure are not contradictory. I never avoid certain foods, and the first thing I do before traveling is to research food. Don't laugh at me; food is the most important thing for people! However, while enjoying food, don't forget to exercise. Don't let your feet be idle; if you can run, don't walk; if you can walk, don't take a car.

I really started long-distance running in my sophomore year. One day, I was in a bad mood, so I ran on the track for an hour. My mind was full of thoughts, and I didn't feel tired. After finishing, I felt inexplicably comfortable, as if the bad emotions had run away. Since then, I have become obsessed with long-distance running. From the initial five kilometers to ten kilometers, I ran my first fifteen kilometers in half a month, and eventually a half marathon.

Running has allowed me to meet many friends with the same hobbies. We share running experiences and interesting stories from our workouts, and encourage each other to keep running. I always feel particularly lucky! We are all runners who love life, and the road ahead is still long. Let's enjoy it together!
